It sounds like your friend had anorexia. I would suggest that you contact either her parents or a school counselor. This is a very serious problem that can cause loss of all of her teeth and eventually even shut down all of her organs. She may be angry with you at first, but you could be the one that can save her life. Please take my advice and get her some help ASAP. Good luck and I will keep her in my prayers. If you need to talk, feel free to e-mail me.

Well she is in the point of life where she is going through maturity and for women they need those calories so there bodies can develop properly. To starve yourself like that is the worst way to loose weight. Tell her she really needs to eat about 2000-2500 calories a day. If she keeps on doing this not just her physical appearence will be damaged but her mind will also. Please have a heart to heart talk with her.

Tell her that if she starves herself now, when she's in her 20s she'll blow up like a balloon. It may be harsh, but it's true based on current scientific research.

And if she really is anorexic, find a way to get her help NOW before she causes permanent damage to herself or kills herself. Yes, anorexia can be deadly.

i recently had the same problem. i found out that my sister was throwing up. The best thing to do is just keep telling your friend how beautiful you think she is. Another thing you should do is get her together with a councelor. Sometimes you cant solve your own problems and you have to look to someone else. All in all, just be there for her.

You should find an adult u trust and talk to him/her about it. She/He can help you find organization or whatnot to help her and teach u how to talk to her... If you find she gets angry with you and pulls away from you, be a good friend and make sure she gets help and stay within reach but not too close. She will need someone in the future.
