A cup is eight FLUID ounces. So six FLUID ounces would be 3/4 cup. But if you put various substances in a cup, the weight in ounces would depend on the the substance. For example, a cup of feathers may not even come to a single ounce. But a cup of marbles woudl be quite a few ounces, perhaps even a pound.

A cup is 8 oz. so 6 oz. is 3/4 of a cup.

However if you are asking how many cups weigh 6 ounces it would depend on the manufacturer wouldn't it? :}
