Hey! I just graduated from 8th grade and going to High School next year! To tell you the truth, I'm kinda glad to be leaving middle school. But only because I grew sick and tired of the people there. My school was a very small school, they are the same people I went to school with for the past 8/9 years. But also, my school is pretty tough, because they expect so much out of us and we have to be good at basically everything. I had straight 4.0's from 4th grade to 7th grade, but in 8th grade I had B's and almost C's. But I still graduated and was one of the top of my class. I think the reason for me that made 8th grade so darn hard was because I didn't really get involve much with the school and I got caught up with all the dramas and crap. And of course the homework, don't fall behind, because it's hard to catch up!

But a lot of my friends really liked 8th grade. So it's not that bad. It's actually not bad at all, but it does have some of it's down moments. But all you can do is try to be positive. Even if you don't feel like doing your homework, still, you should push yourself. But you know? 8th grade is not going to matter in your life. Sure you should still do good, but no body would care what you were like in 8th grade and how smart you were. It's the high school that counts. So don't stress yourself too much. Just relax and have fun!

I just graduated from John Philip Sousa on June 23,2006. I graduated as salutatorian from my academy. The 8th grade was indeed stressful, but the hard work sure did pay off . Besides being one of the seniors of your school is already fun because you are one of the oldest students in your school. In 8th grade you also get to have more fun since it's your last year in your school by going on more trips including your senior trip and other treats your school most likely will offer you. In my school the top senior students got to go on special trips through out the school year . The best advice can give you so that your time in 8th grade would be as good as mine is to keep focus and never forget who you are and the real reason you attend school. Which is to do your best and get the best out of life as you can. 8th grade will be a breeze if you continue to do your best.

8th is pretty easy as long as you get the homework done. Falling behind on homework is basically the main problem for middle school students.
