Let me break down what I gather. You seem to have disaaociated yourself from reality and life, and have decided to live vicariously through a being that you "created", (God complex) meshed with perhaps a longing of a life long pas you with opportunities long past you because you were young, dumb, and full of...well, we all know the rest. Does any one who is 20 or younger really have ANYTHING, ANYTHING of substance to offer a child these days? I'm not talking about the good old farming days of old, I mean the here and now. The cold cruel world we are releasing kids into. Did you do it just cause "babies are cute"?? Did you not realize babies are small human beings with thier own conscience and soul, and free will...and will grow up to be whatever, and whoever they want to be. Sadly, they may even grow to hate you no matter what love you pour on them. Did you think it through? Really, did you? Please explain "My life is my kids to me". It's strangely moronic to me and will not compute.

Mom of3, you are small minded and quite frankly, dumb as a box of rocks. Did you read what i wrote? Did you comprehend it? Don't hate me because I'm living MY life and not wiping A$$es at 3 AM, okay chick? I didn't tell you to stroke with no raincoat. Just skip my queations from now on. You are a mindless idiot. Did you know it's scientific fact that having children destroys a woman's brain cells? Seriously, look it up. I still have all mine. Ha, ha ha!!!

Jara> What about their education? Kids will get no where in this life without education. I guess you didn't have time to plan that out. Humans are just animals, no better, no worse. Just "civilized" if you want to call it so.

"My life is my kid" means that once you have a child you must realize your wants and needs now come a distant second to the needs of your child. It means that when making HUGE life changing decisions you have to think about how your child will be effected by the choice you make rather than just asking yourself ... What do I want to do? , It means thay you know that you are responsible for the welfare , care , physical and emotional well being of your child and despite whatelse you do in your life he/she must take priority.
If the phrase makes no sense to you then I hope you do not have children and I hope you refrain from having them until you are mature enough to realize that the world does not revolve around you.

"My life is my kids" to me, when I say that, means I will do everything in my power to put myself aside, and make them the top priority over all my needs and wants. And in doing that, I HOPE to make them feel loved, become educated, be prepared for the world outside, and become productive adults, functional in society, and if I do that, my purpose as a parent as been fulfilled. I ould GIVE my life for my kids, they are my life, my heart!
BUT, lets be real here. Sometimes I goof up, sometimes I NEED a selfish moment just to survive, someimes I need a break. And I completley went into parenting KNOWING no matter what I do, how right I think I am, how good I try to be, every single one of them are going to hate me at some point. Every single one of them is going to hope they are nothing like me. I was a kid once, not so long ago, and I thought my mom and dad has seriously screwed up, and I hated them, turned on them. But I grew out of it, and I recognize that maybe my kids will, and maybe they wont.
Does anyone 20 or younger having anything of substance to offer a child? Honestley, no. I was 18 when my daughter was born, and I thought I was so cool, and had it all figured out. Looking back on it, I was a terrible mother, had no life to offer her, no opportunity, nothing, not even the love I should have had has a mother. I will honestly say, it wasnt until the birth of my last children (opps, twins) at 25 that I realized what I was doing and saw the bigger picture, the one where LIFE will happen to them, and I better pull my head out of my butt and put it together for them.

Do you ask these questions just to make fun of the people who answer them?? Sounds to me like you need a new hobby.. As to an answer to your question: I have 3 children. The first one was born when I was 20. I work 2 jobs to send them to private school and they are very polite and mind their manners. So for your theory that no one under 20 has the knowledge to raise children, I beg to differ. The phrase "My life is my kids" simply means that your world revolves around them and every decision that you make is based on what the results would be for your family. I too am hoping that you have no children, because I would hate mine to have grow up in a world with a child of your beliefs.

You are obviously not a parent of you would be able to comprehend the meaning of the phrase.
I'm sure that when most women have children they are aware that they are small human beings that they are bringing into the world. If they don't know that then they will know it the day they delivered their child. I don't think that when you have kids you are trying to live vicariously through them.
~~ I think that maybe you have some mommy and daddy drama that you need to work through. Good luck on that.

I think I understand ( to a point) what your trying to say I think your just not saying it in the right frame of mind. There are alot of young teens out there having children and making mom and dad take care of them or sending them to adoption. As far as the phrase " My life is my kids ", I think that means something different to everyone. To me it doesnt mean that I DONT have a life, it means that now when I make a decision about something chances are it has something to do with my children and my life now "revolves" around them and helping throughout there life to help them get the most out of THEIR life. I still go out and have fun once in a while, you have to in order to keep from going crazy and I thing most parents would understand that, but for the most part going out and partying every other night is out of the question. But it also means that I would do ANYTHING for them. If that meant taking a bullet or walking in front of a train then so be it. There's nothing I wouldnt do for my kids.
It also wouldnt hurt to be a little nicer to the people who have taken time out of their day to answer your question. Remember YOU asked for the input from other people. If you need to vent then do it but dont ***** at the people who are trying to help you and call them names, kind of childish if you ask me.

all i have to say is, i love my children soooooooo much that i will do anything for them (within reason). my love for them is unconditional. to me, there is nothing greater than being a parent. there is a saying that goes, "being a mom is the hardest job in the world, but the most rewarding." my heart melts when i hear my child say,"i love you mommy". it sucks the way the world is today. who would want to bring a child into it.? but if we all looked at it like that, we would become extinct (just my opinion). but regardless of this crazy world, a mother's love will most always prevail over anything else. i am a christian and i am trying to raise my children with those values and only hope and pray that when they are adults they will remember that.p.s. i do have a life besides parenting. its just that my kids are the majority of it and i wouldnt change a thing!

yes i'm 20. and i just had my first baby. i offer my daughter all the love in the world. she also has a stable family environment. and for your phrase to me it means i would do anything for my kids. i love them dearly and give my own life just so they can have theirs if thats what it came down to. personally i find what you said offensive. i'm dumb or stupid because i have a child at the age of 20. and yes my child may grow up and hate me, but that could happen no matter how old you were when you had a child.

Ah but you can prove a negative! Put your hand in the fire and you proved it is not cold!! But when it comes to christianity not only is the proof of negativity laid down but there is evidence against as well!! In simple terms academia states that in the absence of proof of the existence of something it must be deemed not to exist until verifiable proof is found - thus god is held not to exist pending some sort of verifiable evidence. There is not one single mention of Jesus in the entire Roman record - that is right - not one!!! At the same time as he was supposed to have been around there were a number of Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are well recorded!! He was supposed to have been a huge problem to the Romans and produced wonderful miracles but still not one contemporary record? Even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!! Pilot is recorded in the Roman record as a somewhat lack luster man but no mention of a Jesus, a trial or crucifixion that would surely have been used to make him look brighter!! At best he was an amalgam of those others!! The Roman Emperor Constantine produced the bible and he was a pagan not god!!! He also organized Christianity into the Holly Roman Catholic Church!! Not in Israel or any of the countries of supposed origin but entirely Italian!! Not one word of it is contemporary with the period and was not written until many years after the period the story is set in!! What a wonder full disinformation and deception campaign he waged against his Christian enemies - so good in fact that Christians are still following the deception to this day!!!

Let me tell you something my kids are my life! that means if anything ever happens to them by someone that is a rapist, murderer, or a sexual predator, I will do anything in my power to see they get what they deserve. If they get off with probation or a slap on the wrist then I will be going to jail because I will hurt someone. So for you to sit here and say this crap you must not be a parent and in that note you don't need to be a parent.

well im sure if you had children, you would understand that when you have someone who depends on you and only you, then you must put that childs needs ahead of your own. my 3 kids are my whole world. and that means that i would lay down and take a bullet and die for all of them. therefore, they are my life.
