i think the main reason is cause either they are not happy in it or they are getting bored with it but they dont want to leave the one that they are with because it is familiar to them and they are afraid to leave it. Sometimes i think it may be the thrill there that they might get caught and some people just dont care and if the other partner aint giving them what they want they are gonna try and get it somewhere else.

because there relationship starts to get boring and the people in the relationship start getting tired of each other and want someone different for a change.

They are lacking something in themselves and look for others to fulfill it. The more they look for it in cheating, the farther they will get from actually fulfilling their void.
