there isn't really a remedy for sadness....unless they want to move back with you....sometimes, you need to be sad so you'll know how much you miss them....i would say to keep in contact with them....call them every once in a while....and come back and visit a bit more often....or tell them to visit you...i'm sorry you have to leave....i know how hard it is for you....my family is on the other side of the world...it was so hard to leave them the day i had to...i was crying in the airport and the airplane, and cried even more when i got home....but my family members and i keep in contact, we have msn and skype....and we chat when we meet online....i miss them very much, and it is really hard.....but i know i keep them in my thoughts and heart....and they too...we always talk about our memories and meeting up soon.....it is hard to have family far away....

Well, you have to go home right now, but you need to also remember the positive of the trip and know it's possible to make the trip again and with email, Instant messaging, etc there are a million ways to keep in contact. You're not technically leaving, just saying see you again real soon, keep in touch!

well, you could move to where they are, or if that is not possible, keep in touch by emailing each other letters and pictures. And call them on your cell phone. How about taking a class or joining a club, something to take your mind off of missing your family and it will help you to connect with other people in your community?

Keep in phone conyact and make sure you take alot of pictures while you are out there. Also maybe you all can pool alittle money together to help pay for a yearly visit with them.

Just know that even though you may not see them a lot ~ they will always be there for you ~ i know that the friends and family i have ~ i may not see them often but i know if i were in trouble they could come running to help me out. Just call ~ email ~ write them as often as you can to keep in touch. Its not easy but it gets better. Good Luck :)

Why not say something like. "really enjoyed the visit and will hold all the precious memories close to my heart forever. Looking forward to the next time we can share a few days together. Until then keep my love safe in your heart as I will keep yours safe in mine."

if you don't have one, get a video camera (CVS has disposable ones for 25 bucks, take pictures, and keep a journal about what you guys did, who said what, etc. Emails are cool, because there convienent but there's nothing like videos, pictures, and memories on paper. Make a scrapbook about your trip.
Most important, keep in touch.
