Well, I'd say you are almost right. God is not a person, but i believe in it 100%. God is the Universal Energy that animates us and drives this existence. If it wasn't for God we wouldn't even be able to walk, talk or care if we had kids or not.

I believe in a Higher Power that some call "God", others call Him "Allah" or "Jehova" or "Yahweh" or "Buddah".
I believe that the very mechinations of life could not have been so perfect and so complete without an architect. I do not espouse to any religious group. But my soul knows right from wrong and good from evil.
I believe that this Higher Power has love for ALL people. I believe that every belief system on this planet has different roads leading to the same ultimate goal. Although I do not espouse to any religious organization, I am tolerant of others' religions. Why? Because that is what God and/or Jesus would do.
I believe it was Ghandi who said: “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”

When we r in deep trouble we use to "God plz help me".
From the childhood we are taught that there is a creature of this world refered as God. He is worshiped by everyone in different names in different religion. If we are not taught like this and didnt even heard about God will we say those words. I doubt.
A child from a religious family will strongly believe their family God and a child from non religious family will differ but still will believe coz of the surrounding environment. Someone may experiment with a child brought up in an environment where there is no word God. I mean that we are taught to believe God.
Another point is
Day and Night. Good and Bad. God and Devil.
Implies that there is God.
There are lots of wonders that the human power cant reach out like - the universe, the evolution of life, the soul, after death, etc etc.... Leave it to God.
From the begining of life people worship things that are really helpful like Sun, Water, Air, Trees, etc. etc... To me thats a respect shown to them. People even worship Devils in some strong believes.. Believe plays a greate role in Religions. We must respect their believes and their religions.
When something happens good to us we praise God and when we are in worst situation we still defend God by taking as the punishment of our sins. When innocent people suffer we will say God is testing and their days will come. When someone experienced a narrow escape from some deathly accident (or in short say death) he praises God and will say God is there but what about those who met the death. We will say his time arrived. Thats coz people believe strongly that God will never do wrong. He sometimes punishes for our sins. If we do wrong things God will sent us to Hell. These strong believes will made this world better place to live.
I believe there is some natural power that operates this world.
I believe in Truth, Good is God.
I believe in no religion but respects and believe their good doctrines.
Be Good Do Good and lets make this world a better place.

I believe in God.
In fact, if it weren't for Him, we wouldn't just have no kids, we wouldn't have anything, even ourselves. God created everything and holds the universe together. It may not be explainable by reason or logic, but that's because God is above reason and logic and believing in Him without that tangible proof takes a great faith.
And, no, we don't put religion above our kids, we put God above our kids and everyone and everything else because He created everyone and everything.
Christianity isn't a religion, it's a way of life. God is the being that is centered in Christianity[our lives]. I am, of course speaking of Christians when I say "we" and "our."

God is The Omnipotent. When I feel lonely and need help, the only existence I trust upon and bring my needs is God. God is the best friend and the best helper. He gives against nothing. God is the first and the last resort for me in a world full of atrocities and enmities.I am relaxed with Him.

your question should be do you believe in Jesus Christ since everyones answer is all of a "any God" The Lord of Lords - King of Kings- our savior- is not the higher power you are talking about and blessed bees ( that is all witchcraft for you that dont know)
and we do have a free will choice to chose, but do not confuse the issue who the one True GOD is...and is isnt Gatou of the masons or allah either there not the same....Jesus Christ is the son of God and the Holy Spirit was sent here after Jesus resurrected and that is the true TRINITY

How could you not believe in god. Take a look around you,take a walk in the park,look up at the sky,think about all the animal and plant life. There is no way that you could say that us and everything around us evolved.
