Their is no recommended wine for rat. I personal would choose whiskey for that. "To kill that taste and anything else that would be in the rat"

I have never heard of Rat stew or had it, so i don't know the taste or quality.. I am guessing if it is a real stew then probably a red wine.. 2buck chuck is a decent red wine if you don't want to dish out some shells.. otherwise with most "stews" you would maybe want a pinot noir- something rich but if you want to go with something not so heavy in taste then a Chianti or Shiraz

Redneck Red, the flagship wine of the Oildale Winery in Bakersfield. If your stew is made of white rat, you may prefer the lighter White Trash White. Now, unfortunately, this fine winemaking establishment has recently closed its doors. However, you may still find some of its fine vintages in wine stores online or across the deep south. Bon Appetit!

I think "Mice Wine" would compliment your "Rat Stew"! I actually tried this in the back of a bar in my hometown one night, many moons ago. The bartender was from Hong Kong [I think?]. It was yellow in color and had approximately 10-15 small baby mice inside the bottle. Amazing what us "boozers" will drink!

Well rat is mostly dark meat , really something you need to cook with a crock pot , then serve with a light cooking wine . and for desert a big slice of humble pie ....

Baby Duck of course!
For those not in the know, Baby Duck is a Canadian sparkling wine that's equated with being super cheap in both price and quality. It really is godawful stuff.

I would go with Vampire wine. Probably their Pinot Noir. It's imported from Transylvania.
