I've done it four times and was brought back by defibulation. It was kind of funny feeling but really happened too quick for me to have any last thoughts. Everything in the room went kind of "mosaic" then I didn't remember anything . The first time when I woke up I told the Dr. that he had ruined a great dream, but I don't remember the dream at all.

I think that to die is to gain because I am a born again believer and for me to die is to be with my creator. My thoughts would be to meet Christ finally and see all my loved ones gone on before me. When you know in your own heart where you are going you can be at an inner peace, and I believe that one can truly know where they will go. There's nothing stronger then the power of ones own mind when it is made up and is unshakeable.

I have cared for many patients I believe in what hospice nurses refer to as terminal restlessness. This happens when the soul and the body start to seperate, the dying become very agitated, they start speaking to the family members who already have passed on. Often before death, a person who is dying and has had their eyes closed for days will open their eyes and look into the heavens. I think they are looking into the after life. I recently lost my dad, and he was talking to my mother who died in 1993 and he kept looking up. I asked him what he was looking at and he said "your mom" He was totally disoriented and didn't make any sense except for that.
My parents were married over 50 years and he loved my mother and grieved deeply when she died. He was less than a day from his death when he said that. I hope they are somewhere together now.

Well that would depend on the manner in which I am made to meet my maker. If I turned and saw a speeding train coming at me - my last thoughts would be "Oh sh1t!". If was a longer illness and I was lucid - I imagine the last minutes would be spent thinking of happy times with family. If I was wracked with pain and on medical marijuana - I would probably be thinking how cool the LEDs on my stero are when they move in time with Pink Floyd.

I really don't know what it is like to die, but my last thoughts would be of me entering the gates of Heaven, because I'm born again and also repented of any evil thing I done in my life.

Depends on how I die. I hope it’s quick and painless. No time for last thoughts. But if there’s time to think… Well I’d probably be thinking… “Oh great God’s punishing me one last time before I die….”

It's silly to save every dollar because when I die I won't bring them with me. It's silly to have jelous because it make me unhappy. It's silly to spend so much time to get first in class because it is the same grade as those who got last. It's silly to be so morally addicted that make you enjoy less happiness in life. So when we still alive . Be satisfy with what we have at the moment . Then we would live and die happily and peaceful.

I don't know what it's like but I believe that we'll be greeted by Jesus himself. i believe that when it is time, my last thought will be if my husband and children will be alright without me?

Depending on how you die, I think that what the "would be like" is a little open.

If you look in the Bible it says that when we are dead it is like we are asleep. Were laying in this deep sleep awaiting the resurection. If you have any questions just contact me. And I know my last thought will be how much Ill miss Nathan (my love) until I see him again.

I was friends with a medical man for a couple of years. He was in attendance for many many deaths. He said that no one had ever told him they regretted something they had done. On the other hand, many voiced the regret for not doing something they wanted to do.

Live life, it's all there is.
