JENNI: ive read the bible and quran several times through front to back over my life so im willing to bet i know more about it than you... plenty of christians believe that jesus was the son of god without being a physical manifestation of god....and how can you be a son of god and not be part god yourself? wasnt god the father who impregnated mary??? jesus would be half-god half human, like hercules or something.

Try reading the whole bible.
Jesus was God, just as the Holy Spirit is God. If you read the bible you will understand why.
Oh and by the way fool... No christian believes that Jesus is a God on his own. If you had actually read the bible you would know that Jesus didn't preform miracles on his own, God preformed them through him.... like many healers today. Billy Graham etc.
The reason all christians are answering you with, try reading the bible.... because that is obviously what you have never done. Another case of an ill-educated fool, trying to attack something that he doesn't even understand.
The Holy Trinity has always been in the bible.
So you have apparently read the whole thing through, interesting. You must have missed the whole part where Jesus was used as a sacrifice for human sin. Jesus was the son of god, yes. But we are all sons and daughters of god, he created us. Jesus was a pure human sacrifice, because he was free of sin.
Jesus lacked something that God usually gives humans.... the free will to either follow or disobey him. Jesus never had that, he was told he was the messiah from a young age and conversed with God from a young age. He knew for a fact that there was a God.... there was no research for him to do, no other paths to try. He knew from the very beginning he was on the right path because god would show himself to him. He wasn't half God, he is worthy of worshipp yes. But to say that Jesus is half God, is to say that humans are whole God. Because God made us completely, he made Adam and Eve from scratch.

good lord, no. in the beg. (read Gen.) There was God and the holy Spirit the holy spirit is Jesus!
There are many misconceptions on the identity of the Holy Spirit. Some view the Holy Spirit as a mystical force. Others understand the Holy Spirit as the impersonal power God makes available to followers of Christ. What does the Bible say about the identity of the Holy Spirit? Simply put - the Bible says that the Holy Spirit is God. The Bible also tells us that the Holy Spirit is a Person, a Being with a mind, emotions, and a will.
The fact that the Holy Spirit is God is clearly seen in many Scriptures including Acts 5:3-4. In this verse Peter confronts Ananias as to why he had lied to the Holy Spirit and tells him that he had “not lied to men but to God.” It is a clear declaration that lying to the Holy Spirit is lying to God. We can also know that the Holy Spirit is God because He possesses the attributes or characteristics of God. For example the fact that the Holy Spirit is omnipresent is seen in Psalm 139:7-8 “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.” Then in 1 Corinthians 2:10 we see the characteristic of omniscience in the Holy Spirit. “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.”
We can know that the Holy Spirit is indeed a Person because He possesses a mind, emotions, and a will. The Holy Spirit thinks and knows (1 Corinthians 2:10). The Holy Spirit can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30). The Spirit intercedes for us (Romans 8:26-27). The Holy Spirit makes decisions according to His will (1 Corinthians 12:7-11). The Holy Spirit is God, the third “Person” of the Trinity. As God, the Holy Spirit can truly function as the Comforter and Counselor that Jesus promised He would be (John 14:16,26; 15:26).

God has always desired to dwell on earth with his creation. He put the whole world in motion so that at the proper time he could manifest himself in flesh and bones as Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ formed the worlds as we know it. Jesus Christ was immortal. He had a physical body, but a divine spirit dwelling within. He was the Creator. John 1. He was fully God and fully man. Meaning as a man he had to go through the process of becoming a perfect vessel for God to enter into. So he is the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. ONE GOD whose proper name is Jesus Christ. The father dwells in Christ as one.

>>>this question is for those christians who believe jesus was the son of god<<<
What other kinds of Christians are there?
No, it doesn't make us polytheists -- technically or otherwise.
One God in three persons -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
I know, you can't understant how one God can be in three persons. Neither can I.
But just because we can't understand it with our limited human intellect, doesn't mean it's not true.

No because The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit are one Deity. It's called the divine Trinity. Go to church and read your Bible, you'll get it!

No..Jesus Christ is the SON of God, but Christ, his Father and the Holy ghost make up the Godhead. This Godhead is one team with three individuals with three separate roles but one common goal.
You pray to God in Christ's name and through the Holy Ghost.

the bible, in john 1:1, says in the beginning was the Word. and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. this makes it clear that Jesus and the Father are two facets of the one God. its sortta like my dad was an optometrist, a farmer and a parent--three different facets pf himself, but still one man

Hah, I asked this same question a day or two ago. It looks like Henotheism to me (many faces of one God, much like Hinduism).
But, you're mostly right - it is definitely not strict monotheism (which is a bit comfy for most Christians to admit)

Jesus is not god. He is the son of god. I do not pray to Jesus, he is our lord but he is not the almighty, he is the messenger of god and through him we speak to god,
I don't pray to idols. I don't need sticks, even if they are made of gold.
Holy ghost? holy spirit is just the method of action from god not some other person running about
god doesn't need your money and god doesn't want you to kill for him. If your god needs you to kill in this day of communication he is a week god and a false god
god is just a title just like king, sir, boy, Dog, hay you,
