On one hand, babies are immunized and saved, on the other , African babies are aborted, fulfilling Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger's vision of population control of unwanted minorities
Some of the wealthiest men in the world descend like avenging angels on the populations of the developing world," wrote Population Research Institute president Steven Mosher, a frequent critic of Gates and Buffett. "They seek to decimate their numbers, to foist upon vulnerable people abortion, sterilization and contraception."

What is wrong with providing contraceptives, abortions, and sterilizations to anyone who wants them? Isn't that better than letting them have babies that they can't afford to feed? Is it better to let children starve to death or die of diseases for the sake of religious people who view everything through God-colored glasses? I'd say it's a lot more economical to provide birth control and sex education to the world's poor, than it is to try and feed and care for children who have no hope of survival. I don't believe these things should be forced on anyone, but they should be given the education they need to make their own choices in the matter. Unfortunately, education costs money, and political leaders would rather spend money on war and lining their own pockets.

The population problem needs a real shake up.
THe more human population increases, the animal population has to decrease.
Wild life needs a lot more land. Not just that. The populatins
is growing alarmingly. Where are the jobs and the food and the water for them? Temperatures are changing and there is no water in a lot of the places where populations are growing alarmingly.
There has to be a shake up. I dont have the answers. Only those who produce indiscriminately know what to do about the future of their children.

I noticed that you posted this question in Sociology and chose the ONLY answer (out of six) that agreed with you with no factual statistical back-up. Will you leave this question unresolved until you get the answer for which you are looking? So far none of the previous six responses agree with your edited quote.
That article also states: "Gloria Feldt, a former Planned Parenthood president, said she was appalled by the harsh attacks on them. "What an outrage that these people have the gall to cast aspersions on other citizens for standing up for what they believe," Feldt said Thursday. "They have no right whatsoever to criticize people who put their money where their mouths are."
She is correct in her statement. If people want these children to live a full productive life, then they should adopt them, care for them, educate them, pay for their medical treatment and donate their money to them. Gates and Buffet are backing up their beliefs with hard cold cash. In the end, the families will benefit. They will be healthier and will be able to better support themselves, and by doing so better their nation's economy. By following your line of thought, it appears you do not want the minorities to succeed but to live in poverty and squallor.
I don't see any anti-abortionists caring or adopting or otherwise supporting crack babies or even the disadvantaged children in our own country. They are more about telling people what they can't do than SHOWING US BY THEIR OWN ACTIONS what can be done to help these families and children.

GOD wants these two great men to join hands in eradicating poverty together with the other rich and poor ones. It's about time that they move on as one to help the helpless; to give them a better life; and to make this world a better place for all mankind.
More power to you, Sir Bill Gates and Sir Warren Buffett and to all the philanthropists of the world. Sail on.......GOD is there to lead you.

Did you miss the part where it said that less than 1% of all the money went to Planned Parenthood? Also PP's main objective isn't abortion; they provide well woman care, STD testing, and contraception (which is not the same as abortion) as well.

Mosher is an idiot. If you believe that contraception is a bad thing, or that it is good to bring a baby into the world without the means of supporting it, so are you.
