First, buy a bodyfat scale. See how much is body FAT.
Then you can determine how much bodyfat you need to loose.
Next do daily aerobic exercises, weightlifting every other day.
Eat a small meal every 3 hours. Avoid foods that are fattening.

The good news is that your youth works for you! You have a better chance of losing that weight than a 23, 33, 43 yr old. Walking is a great place to start for exercise. It's cheap, and flexible, and you can gradually increase it. Swimming is great, too. Dancing is fun! Just crank the tunes in your room and have fun! Check out exercise videos at the library. Keep eating fresh fruits and veggies! Pretty soon your junk food cravings will turn into "Gee, I'd like an apple or strawberries!" Honest! Give it a few weeks and you'll see! It's not easy. Have patience with yourself. You didn't put the weight on overnight, so it won't be gone overnight either. Just keep at it. Even if you slip up and feel crummy about it, just be good to yourself and don't give up. You can make progress even if you just stop yourself from giving up.

You could lose weight with a fad diet and regain it again within a year or you can take the hard way and change your lifestyle.

The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you take in. This means eating fewer calories and exercising. Try eating more high volume low calorie foods like fruits and vegetables and cutting out foods that are processed, fried or high in sugar. Set aside half an hour a day to exercise in a way that you enjoy- I recommend sports, cycling or inline skating. You may also want to pick up a set of weights so that you can build muscle.

Remember to take it slow too. Safe weight loss is about 1-2 pounds a week.

Cut out the high fat foods/junk food/fast food and start eating all healthy stuff - veggies, meats, dairy and make sure to eat reasonable portions. You might wanna talk to your parents about paying for you to see a nutritionist who can help you lose weight and also learn how to eat properly.
Excersizing is also another important part of losing weight and staying fit. Start going for walks every day and maybe consider joining a gym. Get involved in school sports when you feel ready.

First of all, congrats on wanting to take charge of your body. I would advise you to evaluate your reasons for losing weight. Are you doing this to look like Nicole Richie or are you doing this to feel better about yourself and to be healthier? Make sure you're doing this for you, not for someone else. Think long-term - dieting may help you lose weight, but lifestyle changes will help you keep fit. Keep in mind that numbers aren't everything. Don't let the scale control your life - see how your clothes fit, how you feel, how much longer you can run/walk/bike, etc. Make smart decisions, listen to your body, and keep motivated. Best of luck, dear, email me if you need anything.

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if your trying to lose weight, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then your consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity. Get a fitness calculator that you can put on your cell phone and computer. This will allow you to easily calculate this formula, log your daily calorie consumption, and log your physical activities.

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as white potatoes) and drink lots of water.

Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/PyramidLRG.gif?osCsid=26a424be471d1337e7c2f105d5c64d9d

Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training For Dummies”. *5) Educate yourself continually on health issues. A good free publication is “Dietary Guidelines For Americans 2005”. A superb book to read is “You The Owner’s Manual”. An excellent periodic publication is the “Nutrition Action Health Letter”.

*6) Make a life long commitment to good health. A great test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com Look at other areas where you can improve your health. take baby steps.
*stop drinking sodas all together-water instead
*stop eating junk food, its hard to do i know, but you have to learn not to listen to your taste buds
*buy apples and other kinds of fruit-make yourself eat that as a snack versus a back of chips
*set small goal-losing a pound a week maybe? remember, nothing happens over night...it could take a month until you start seeing results
*excersize, but start of slow-build up your stamina, maybe 5 pushups and 5 situps every morning. as time passes you'll find you can do 10, 20, and on up to 50 every morning. when you get home from school, do something like jump roping, or go on a walk with a friend. during the summertime, do the same thing at the same time, about 8 in the morning do situps and about 4 at night go on a walk
***belive that you can do it!!!!***talk to a motivational friend...the most important thing is to remember nothing happens after one day of this....you have to STICK WITH IT.
if you ever need anything, feel free to email me... I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!

A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
The correct way to burn fat and stay healthy is to burn more calories than you consume
You need to make sure you are eating healthy foods while still excercising
If you have a big appetite drink plenty of water so that you will feel full but not consume calories
But you should always eat
If you start to skip meals you will only be more hungry at your next meal and probably eat way too much
Remember, the average persons stomach is as big as a slice of pizza scrunched up into a ball
So you shouldnt be putting more food into your stomach than what fits
Also, it takes aproximately 15-20 minutes for your brain to realize that you are full
so eat slower and you will realize sooner when you are not hungry anymore

maybe it's hereditary or you just eat too much! the way we humans are supposed to eat are small portions of food throughout the whole day! but don't eat past 6:00 or you'll gain weight. I suggest trying to work out. unless your fit then it could all be muscle fat.
