My boyfriend and I make love several times a week. I heard couples will refrain from having sex or even sleeping in the same bed for a period of 1-2 weeks before the wedding. Has anyone here done this? What's wrong with making love a few hours before the wedding even?

Nothing at all is wrong with it.
How about in the bathroom during the rehearsal dinner?
On the way to the reception.
Go for it!

No it's good to stay away from each other intimately before the wedding, then on the wedding night you will have missed each other so much that wedding night will be awsome. You don't want your wedding night to be just like any other night that you's spend together.

one or two weeks is ok but not a few hours.they say its bad luck for the groom and bride to see each other a day or hours before the wedding.

well I don't guess that's wrong but I have heard that it's bad luck for the bride and the groom to even see each other the day of the wedding

absolutly nothing wrong with it. If you've already engaged in this together, a few hours or a night is not going to make a diffrence. For traditional sake, many people do still carry this on. It's up to you.

a week or two probably allows time for you to miss sex, or crave it - causing the wedding night to be somewhat special
