I own two Weims
One male Blue he is 9 and a female Morgan she is 2
They are very active and need lots of exercise. Ours hunt and we have 7 acres for them to run in.
They run with us when we ride our horses.
They are very very smart but need to be kept busy.
Neither one of mine has bad seperation anxiety. They would prefer to be with us all the time but can be left alone and not tear up the house.

I love weimeraners. In 1975 I was jogging and a pack of about 10 dogs started chasing me. I thought I was toast. Then out of nowhere a weimeraner chased the other dogs away. He jogged with me for a mile then went home. I never went that way again and never saw him again, I have held him in my heart for 30 years.
What was your question?

My old roommate has one and he lived with us for a while. They may be pretty to look at, but they're not very bright, are extremely hyper, and usually have lots of issues including separation anxiety and skin problems. And I'm not just going off the one that used to live with me, I work at an animal hospital and most of the other weimaraners that I see are the same exact way. I think I've only met one that was actually a calm, intelligent dog.

Oh, and the one that used to live with me is named Steeler.

I dont have one but I am dog sitting for my friend that has one she is huge. The only thing that I really know about them is that they were origginaly bred to take down deer. What they would do is chase the deer and run low and latch onto the deers balls and bring them down this way. I know that sounds totally weird and that I am making it up but I am not. I am telling you the truth I think I heard it on Ceaser Milan the dog whisper.
