i too was the worst one you are not hopeless, and you are certainly not as bad off as many people I have known...you have to stay away from the casino ,use direct deposit, stay away from people that camble, find yourself an other hobby if u can let other people that u trust control it for u with no access of it what so ever . One day at a time, you will beat it. You may never look back and laugh, but you have only lost money...there are many worse things to lose. Good luck and get to work. you will give me the result i was wort remember

Remember that life is not based on the choices you've made in the past, or the choices you'll make in the future. The only choices that really matter are the ones you make this minute. Make a choice to clean up the mess. Start with baby steps. Respect yourself. Don't procrastinate. Chose not to gamble today. Then, do it again tomorrow. Make as many little good choices as you need to until your life is back on track. Then, keep making them. Good Luck!!!

The first thing you could do is to contact a church near you that you feel might closely match your beliefs, and ask to speak with the minister. Tell him you would like to attend his church, but you have an immediate need to speak with someone who can help you. Briefly explain the problem like you just did on Yahoo Answers, and try to set up an appointment. Then spill your guts and then be quiet as your minister attempts to give you some advice. I do hope that you are able to find a kind person to help you. You could even get out your phone book and try calling right now!

I used to be a habitual gambler. You need to confess to someone who would be willing to become a financial parent to you. Explain your pattern of gambling and ask them to monitor your spending. Make sure this person is trustworthy... Give them your earnings, let them pay your bill for a few months... Get a budget... And give some money to needy and poor people... that you see on the street. This will help you restore value in the treasures that God has blessed you with.

I know those who likes gambling won't stop it . Maybe they would stop for a short time but will do it again . So no one believes them. But I know those who believe JUESE and they really stop gambling for the whole life. So you know what you should do now.And it is better that you move to other place where there is not easy to go into the casinos and make new friends . I think this new life will make you happier. With best wishes and good luck to you poor Dick .D !

Hi
Why don't you try AA...... my ex was a drunk, and there are similarities between the "extremes"
I've been to Las Vegas 2 times, and I was gambling all the time.....that scared me, and even though there are several casinos only few minutes away, Vegas is the only place I'm gambling. I've never sat a foot in a casino in my home state.
The best of luck to you, and remember self discipline is the key

pray to God and He will help you.im sure of it.but you can also go onine and do some research on programes on how to stop gambling.
however,i cant blame your friends for abandoning you. you started to gamble, your the one who made your life "a wreck".but then again,a true friend would stick by you
but in hte mean time, pray to God and He will get you out of this mess
p.s.- if you become a christian, please dont just pray to God when you need help.pray daily! =D
best of luck and God bless

They've dumped you because they don't want you to drag them down with you...clean yourself up and get counselling, join one of those five-step groups. You are already at the bottom don't dig yourself deeper in, you have a compulsive illness get help!...maybe you need medication for a while to get you through this period so seek help.

Commit yourself to doing it and making the change. Look to someone you know who thinks, behaves, lives as you would like to do. Ask that person to give you some tips and help steer you straight. Encourage the person by listening and taking good advice.Promise yourself to quit gambling and quit.
