I have two canker sores on my bottom lip that are still there but seem to be healing, but now in the back of my mouth on the inside of my cheek I am getting another one.
Why do I keep getting them? Whats wrong with me?
They hurt really bad.

Nothing is wrong with you. Most are caused by the herpes simplex virus, and 80% of the population has it. They come out when your immune system is compromised, like when you are sick or sleep deprived.
Using mouthwash will make them go away quicker. Also, getting a prescription, like Valtrex, prevents them and makes them go away quicker.

It can also be something other than canker sores that is benign or no big deal. I was panicked from a sore I thought was a canker sore, went to the dentist. He made me swish with some vile fluid for a bit, and after a few seconds/minutes he checked with a special light. Whatever he saw indicated it was a chemical burn. Apparently even something as simple as Orange Juice acid can burn your mouth tissues. SOOO, if you are seriously concerned, call your dentist and ask to be seen or for advice.
Also, as a side note, canker sores CAN be a secondary sign of illness or infection. It's best to be seen when concerned.

They're caused by acidity in your body. Either you're eating a lot of processed foods with MSG...or you could be eating a lot of sugar which also adds acid to the body. If you're not eating MSG reduce your sugar intake and see if that helps. Remember it takes about ten days to get rid of them. In the mean time try to eat alkaline foods.

you may have herpes in your mouth. You need to see a doctor asap. You can use otc, tooth numbing ointment for the pain. Keep in mind you may be contagious. Not sure if it's herpes or not, but you need a doc to check it out.

There's some medicine you can get from your doctor that you apply and it helps get rid of them. It works best at night so that your saliva doesn't get rid of it.

they are actually caused by a herpes simplex virus. but people usually get them when you're "vulnerable"- for instance, I tend to get them when I'm really sleep deprived.
