What can make a person truly happy?

Happiness is a feeling of positivity inside you after things happen or when something good is about to happen.
The word "happy" is derived from "happenstance," and is based on your circumstances. For example, you probably won't be happy the day your best friend dies.
In other words, you can't always be happy. There is no way to gaurantee happiness always.
But on the other hand you can find joy in the Lord Jesus Christ and even though your circumstances are bad you can still be joyful.
To be truly joyful in your heart you must accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour and then always read, pray, and think about Him in everything you do. When you consider God's wishes for your life you will be truly happy.

some will say money love sex.....but when you die....there is no more money..then what?

many will say eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we die...

so I ask you....if we get stoned and drunk...and we do it all spending money frivelously... I know a lot of people who end up miserable that way here on earth...so that isn't the key..

True happiness is having a wife and family that loves you and that you love back. You serve them unconditionally and they do it in return to you..

It is not necessarily having financial gains..I lived in Brazil for 2-3 years and many don't have money..but they are happy because they know the purpose of life. They follow God's teachings and they are happy with the way God has blessed their lives.

Love others as you would like to be loved...treat them as you would be like to be treated. this world is all about two things

1) How to repent for your wrongdoings
2) how to forgive others when they wrong you..

if you can do just that...you have learned more than most..even the intellectuals with their money...will not have learned the basics..as money will not be available to them in the next life.

If u think money sex love give satisfaction, it is false. These dont give any satisfaction at all. Can u find even a single rich having millions of dllors and he is satisfied. If u observe them closly then u will fine that they are more dissatisfied than poor. Again they can create problems 4 us. The true satisfaction is satisfaction of heart or spiritual satisfaction. So prey from God. Moreover if u prey from the Only (True) God, then He will fill your heart with satisfaction.

I have found that true happiness comes from fulfilling God's purpose in my life. When I was running from God, I was miserable. When I made Jesus my Savior and my Lord and began to follow him I found satisfaction and happiness in my life. Life also has become more enjoyable as I have made God's Word the authoritative guide for all of my beliefs and actions.
