Why is it that when you are a person who enjoys receiving a good joke and givinga good joke people call you stupid or dumb what is with that i like my silly self and i may live longer because of my bright and funny personality people enjoy my presence.

I'd work on not letting it bother you, and keep sharing your jokes & humor.
Humor, or finding things humorous is a personal thing. This is why some love Yo Mamma jokes, and some do not. And, so on.
As far as people calling you stupid for sharing. That is not nice. Sorry you've encountered those kind. Sometimes people use the word stupid, because they don't know another word. Perhaps it is not directed to you, but more to the joke - that they don't get, or is not appropriate for them.
Keep in mind, that shared humor should be appropriate to the audience (people you are sharing it with).
