ok whats the difference between xp home sp1 and sp2 please be descriptive thanks and which would u reccomend

Go with sp2. The different packages reflect the fact that microsoft found bugs in the operating system and came out with sp1 and 2 in order to correct them.

well SP stand for service pack which are major security patches and OS updates defiantly get SP2 its all you can find anyhow

SP2 is less buggy and has more features.
