Why or why not?
I am asking also because Searsrborders seems to be a victim of this on this board. Can't anyone argue or debate any issue these days??

Sashie,
you got where I was going with this question. I hear pro illegal supporters say that they are looking for a better life only. But, it can be at the expense of those that get thier identities stolen. It may give an illegal a better life, but it is putting a human in misery by having to deal with the law and IRS in the end trying to proof their true identity too. And that human has the misfortune of being a legal citizen of America.

Poncha,
I would LOVE to see an illegal immigrants W2 form. If there is a Blog or website that proves this? I would LOVE to see it.

Obviously nobody likes identity theft, and equally obviously a great number of people who are bleeding hearts for the illegals turn a blind eye to the fact that a large number of them in fact DO use false papers and stolen identities ... so much for the poor people who only come here to get a better life ... I'd say, I'd have a better life too if I went around and stole other people's identity and ran up huge bills at other people's expense ...

Identity theft is one of the bigger problems caused by illegal Mexicans. I know you being a news person probably heard of that poor woman in California that had her ID stolen by over 200 Mexicans. She tracked down one of them who told her that he bought her social security number at a flea market. The social security office refused to issue her another s.s. number. Now because of what these criminals did, she also has a felony on her record, through no fault of her own. Is that right? How can anyone justify this? She said that she had never as much had even a traffic ticket and now she has a felony. This is a very serious problem. I don't know what it will take to wake people up but things like this should never happen.

I don't approve of identity theft at all. That type of stuff can ruin the victim's life and mess up your credit and stuff. I would be angry if someone stole my identity because more than likely there is going to be some conflict and someone will catch it and if the other person is in trouble with creditors or the law, those creditors or law enforcement will probably come after me instead of the other person first.

To Pancha: I just want to say that if these illegals who WERE legal but then became illegal when they let their Visas expire, still use the ITIN that they were given when they were legal, then I would say they are stupid because Immigration will come after them easily by tracking them through their ITIN. However, I would bet that more often than not, once they let their Visas expire, they change their addresses and also no longer use that ITIN number and, therefore, resort to then using a fake/stolen SSN. If not, then I would hope that Immigration would get on the ball and track down the Visa expired illegal immigrants through their ITINs and deport them.

Supporters will say anything I am beginning to feel.
It seems they can lie-deceive-deny-many have lost their value. Not all I have talked to some nice ones.
Birds of a feather flock together is true, I know some supporters with reason and they are ashamed of the others.
And it is clear who the bad ones are.
By the way when the imposter for seal are on--one seems to disappear-he/she will be more careful now and do both. And it was right after her comment which was their last post. See who it was? Someone in la la land. Now they will be more careful--I am watching you.

What a question! Who would be for identity theft.
Someone opened a cell phone account and in one month ran up a $1,200 bill. I have been trying to get this off my records for 3 years.
Am I for Identity theft?
What do you think!!
And yes, they could effect your benefits and a lot of other government relate issues. It is also illegal!!

No, I don't approve of identity theft. Because it can mess you up in the long run .When you try to accomplish some type of stability for yourself, then you will be put at a stand still in your life. You will have to do so many things to correct the problem.

Are you serious?!?
the answer is a resounding No, because your entire life can be ruined. You could lose the ability to buy a house or car or get a loan or open a bank account because your credit will be destroyed. You could have your wages garnished by the IRS because you owe taxes on jobs that you don't actually hold. Your entire life is violated and you can lose everything. It takes years and years to straighten it out.

Why do you think that all illegals steal other's identities? Most illegals came legally and are now illegal because they let their visa expire and therefore have either ITIN or were assigned social security numbers. They pay taxes with them(gasp!)Even illegals can get an ITIN,which they pay taxes with(gasp!).geeeeez,ppl.How can you generalize so easily.
And for the record,no I do not condone identity theft.

I have already posted multiple sources that 95% of illegals use stolen ID cards in identity theft cases. Only 5% of such cases are citizens and such.
Oh, BTW, seals account has been duplicated, I know this, are you sure it's her?
UH, OK...doh...I just got it...never mind..
