I just discovered this Yahoo Answers and really like it. I am an author and I do extensive research on all of my work. But, this is just an added source. There will always be somebody out there who knows more about or specializes in a particular subject area and - with the world wide web at our fingertips - it would be foolish not to take advantage of this, (one of the few POSITIVES), aspect of the internet. As long as it's not being used as an exclusive source I say "Yea!" for information.

Some like to do research and some individuals don't. Those of us who do enjoy it can help those who don't. Just giving a web site is easy and may be helpful in getting the questioner motivated in getting started on their own search.

your question is not specific enough. Many research require more than 1 person to do. If it is a 1 person project, then they are just lazy or maybe they are out of time.

I posted a question about the name of a song.. & I actually HAVE researched it. I've tried hard to answer the question myself, but I can't seem to find it. So sometimes ASKING for help is good.

because sometimes people cant find the answer by them selfs so they ask other people because they use different forms of research. That's why.

This is a form of research. Perhaps not the most reliable source but a source nonetheless.

Two reasons, cause they don't know that Google exist or they just like to hear what people will say to them. Personally I think the stupid ones don't know how to use Google and the lonely ones just want someone to talk to them.

Maybe cuz it's more fun to ask Qs here. Maybe cuz the Qs that peeps ask are related to life experiences too. (if you're talking bout YAs) Most of mine are life experience Qs. If you check out my A's you'll see what I mean. Btw, when peeps ask for who sang this song, etc., it just makes it that much easier to get da pts :) lol. :P
