First of all it is spelled Biloxi. I live here. Yes it is fun. If you are planning on a visit be prepared to see devastation from Katrina. However many casinos and such are back open. It would be great if more people would come visit to help our local economy.

50 years old and I have lived and/or traveled just about everywhere in this country (and a bit overseas) but since 1978 I keep coming back to the Mississippi Gulf Coast to live. Can't explain it really. I don't like the heat and the humidity but I still want to be here. No, I am not crazy but I do know that when I go down to the gulf waters I feel calm and relaxed. You can have the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, I'll take the good old Gulf of Mexico.
As far as fun, we have a water park in Gulfport, a couple of casinos have reopened in Biloxi (I personally don't go to them), there are a few malls open and a few but not many of the tourist attractions have reopened. There is so much that has been destroyed by Katrina. Just remember the MS Gulf Coast is not just Biloxi but a string of cities and towns, each is special and a great place to be.

Depending on your definition of fun, who you hang out with, what you decide to do, Alligator, MS can be fun. Biloxi is on the gulf so its a beach. With that come casinos, water park entertainment, great restaurants and a close proximity to New Orleans (about 1.5 hours). Mississippi is a craphole, I lived there for 15 years. Stay on the coast or go to New Orleans, you will have fun. The place isnt that big, you can get lost but you can easiy find your way back if you pay attention while you are driving/walking.

Biloxi was lots of fun had nice beaches and Tourist attractions as well as casino's but this was all Pre Katrina, Post Katrina they are still cleaning up and recovering not sure if will ever be the same

I live in Destin, FL and my grandparents go to Biloxi every weekend to gamble and have fun so it must be a fun place!

yes.I liked it alot but i went right before the katrina hit,i can't really say what it is like now.but they couls definetly use your tourism money.
