Can't say for sure but I remember once years ago after a night of drinking beer....
We drank until 1 in the morning and got up at 8 am. Went and got a biscuit from hardee's and on the way to work got pulled over b/c we didn't have our seat belts on. Anyway everyone of us in the car took a breathalyzer. We all failed. This is after having breakfast.....
So that was 8 hours and we failed .LOL
I guess it's the person or how long you sleep . Not sure just thought of that when I read this.
☺

Bullshit. Alcohol will show up on one of those handheld breathalyzers for 13 hours! I stopped drinking at 7pm. I had like 3/4 miniature liquor bottles, took a breathalyzer at 9 am and blew a .09! They are freakishly sensitive! I just got a DUI after one bud lite Rita (16oz) and one miniature, ate dinner and 3 hours later blew a .10! This info on here is wrong! They can also detect alcohol in your urine for up to 3 days now. I couldn't believe it! I drank two days before and failed. Look it up please. I've had a lot of issues because of misinformation. Hope this can help....

No. It takes one hour for your liver to take the alcohol out of your system for every shot or beer you drink. So if you drank 4 shots of vodka at 6 p.m. you should be fine by 8 a.m.

It should be gone by then. cause for me once it only took a couple of hours. Brush your teeth and dont use mouth wash. Cause the breathalyzer will pick up the mouth wash. Cause of the alochol that is in it.

It might. Depends on how fast your body processes alcohol. And it's not breath odor that's measured, but alcohol presence and content in the blood, that can be measured from your breath. Using a mouthwash won't affect the measurement.

Eat some peanuts, they keep your mind clear (you won't have a headache) and wash your teeth, two hours will help ( I think). Sorry but you can't fool the breathalyzer.

No. if that is what only you have had. it takes about 1 hour for every drink. but it depends on your body some people less others a little bit more.
