I would appreciate your favorite strawberry recipes.

I went to the strawberry farm today and spent about an hour picking the nicest looking (and tasting) berries you could imagine. Now I am left with a problem:

What to do with 25 pounds (yes I said 25 pounds) of strawberries. I made some jam and some jelly this afternoon and will do some more tomorrow, but after that I will have enough and will still have 20+ pounds left over.

I need your help and recipes.

Thanks

Simple Strawberry Jam

Ingredients

6 cups cored berries, crush them a bit to measure

3 cups of sugar

3 tablespoons of lemon juice

Directions

Cook all ingredients at a very mild boil (less than medium heat) for 40 minutes. Skim the foam from the top of the fruit while cooking.

Preparing and Filing Jars

Inspect the rims of the jars to make sure there are no small chips or cracks. Wash in hot soapy water, rinse well.
Place in pot and cover with boiling water, boil gently for 15 minutes.
Turn off heat and let stand in hot water until about 5 minutes before you are ready to fill the jars.
Place the jars upside down on a clean towel to drain dry. They should still be warm when you are filling them.
Place the lids in a small pot and cover with water. Heat for a few minutes until warm but do not boil the lids. Lids should be warm when they are placed on the jars.
Fill the jars to within 1/4" of the top, or there will be too much air and lessen the chances of a good seal.
After filling the jars, wipe the rims carefully with a damp cloth to remove any food and then top with the warm lid and attach the ring. Try to work fairly quickly so the jars and lids are warm and the food is very hot during this process. This is the reason small batches work well.
After filling jars, return to a boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
Take out and allow to cool. Jars should seal within the hour

This is my favorite thing to do with strawberries and oh so good and easy.

1 pound of strawberries
1 pouch of that gel stuff you find next to the strawberries at the store
1 pound cake cut into slices
Cool Whip

1. Slice strawberries and stir in the gel stuff.
2. Place in fridge for at least 2 hours.
3. Spoon over pound cake slices and top with Cool Whip.

Here are a couple:

1
Get a enough of them and put them in the freezer overnight. The next day, or whenever... Take them and put them in a blender, add a bit of milk to what you will drink, and a little sugar, Blend it, and now you have a strawberry frosty or smothie... yum...

2 My mother used to make us strawberries with bananas with cream. Cut tthe Strawberries in half, mix in a bowl with banana cut in circles, and add some cream, not sour cream. Add a bit of condensed milk, and mix it. If you let it set a bit, the cream will get pink, and yum yum...

Good Luck!

I love to slice them and layer with plain or flavored yogurt (vanilla is good--I use the non-fat, lite variety) and granola in a tall slender glass--just because it looks so pretty. I assemble it the night before so I have a quick, healthy breakfast in the morning before work. Throw in some blueberries, too, if you picked some up. It's great to make in a tupperware container and take for a snack at work as well. Hope you like.....

Clean off the stems and any bad spots. Slice them and serve over ice cream. Invite all your friends.
Freeze the left over strawberries to have later.
