When you walk inside the salon and the person behind the counter is talking to you and you say that you want a Japanese hair straightening another person sneaks up behind you and smacks you in the asp with a two by four and your hair pops straight out. You pay about $65 dollars for the treatment but walk a little funny for a couple of weeks.

I am a hairstylist who has done my fair share of thermal straightening. The Japanese created this process it was by the company CHI and then Rusk and American based company recreated to be for all hair types. What it is.. is a way to permanently straighten your hair. The hair that is treated is permenantly straight. It will dry straight. It is a chemical process much the same idea as a perm or relaxer but this includes extra steps using the flat iron and protien sprays to change the appearance and configuration of the hair. It makes curly wavy frizzy hair to sleek smooth condition hair. The hair actually dries straight and is in better condition when it is finished. The process itself though is to be considered greatly by the client to choose to do it. It is expensive a commitment. the hair will be as if it was naturally straight you will not be ableto scrunch it. There is no natural wave left! And for three days you cant do anything. You cannot sweat, get it wet , clip it , or tuck it behind the ears. It is the same idea as color it needs time to set it to finish oxidizing. But every client i have treated has totally been thrilled and said it is worth every penny. it last from 6-9 months. It saves them time in the morning not to have to pull at the hair with brushes and flat irons. And it beats this humid heat!!

i'd not try it. on each occasion black human beings straighten their hair that is causing some type of harm. each of the nice and comfy temperature it really is in contact with this technique is certain to reason some breakage ultimately. that is a options too a lot pressure on the hair. I in straight forward words use lye relaxers on my hair (this also motives damage yet a minimum of i comprehend to what degree of harm). purely be careful of any claims out their that this technique gained't damage hair because i detect it demanding to believe. once you listen those claims you would possibly want to also take into interest what "african american" hair is. there are this kind of huge volume of diverse textures of african american hair. you've your extremely kinky hair on your extremely fantastic textured hair. once you listen those claims you would possibly want to locate out what sort of african american hair became this technique supposedly efficient with. back, i am going to genuinely stay sparkling of the jap straightening until eventually you questions are replied satisfactorily. in case you at the instantaneous are not getting a "immediately" answer (no pun meant) then i'd not do it.
