I see a lot of comments about the US being founded by European immigrants and how we should allow everyone to immigrate. Well, using the same logic, Mexico was founded by Spanish murderers who raped anything that moved and forced their religion upon a bunch of people who cut the hearts out of their enemies and offered them to the sun. If the US should allow all immigrants in, shouldn't Mexico allow all raping, human sacrificing sun worshippers into their country?

I realize that every answer I get will be a flame, but people really need to stop playing the whole 'America was built by immigrants, we should let all immigrants in'.

I was built from my father's sperm, but I sure as hell ain't letting anyone else's sperm enter me.

FLAME ON!!!

Hey Angi, you defeated your own point when you said half of the US WAS Mexico. There was this thing called the Treaty of Guadeloupe de Hidalgo. It was signed by the US and Mexico in 1848 after the US embarassed Mexico in a few small skirmishes. The US was not only given the SW by Mexico, but also paid for it. Paid for the spoils of war. Political correctness even in 1848. Once again we are judging present circumstances with a past perspective.

Times also change. Even if the built by immigrants was true (which isn't the case) then what served us well in 1860 doesn't necessarily serve us well now.

The only people who want immigration are those who wish to keep a virtual slave sub-citizen. These subs will mow their lawns, watch their kids and clean their toilets cheaply.

Essentially, what the pro-immigration people are saying to US citizens is this, "You won't clean my bathroom for slave labor rates, so I'll get some dumb Mexican to cross the border and do it in your place".

each of the Arizona regulation does in be sure the federal regulation exceeded in 1996 the position a community police officer stops someone for a diverse reason and the officer suspects the man may be contained in america of a illegally, that individual will be presented in and put in the front of a federal immigration professional. After that the federal officer would deal with the problem as they do now. they'd run the man's ideas by a computing gadget to substantiate no matter if or not they're criminal or no longer. At that aspect that is as a lot because the federal authorities because immigration is a federal remember. This works interior a similar way even as a community officer suspects unlawful drugs, the suspect may be became over to federal officials. The Arizona justice device will deport no individual as thay is a US federal duty and the federal authorities will settle on each case.

I'm sure Native Americans are wishing they had had a Department of Homeland Security back in the day.

I hope no one else's sperm enters you dude. That would be bad.

And you are mostly correct. 50 million Germans emigrated to this country and are there any German signs anywhere except during Oktoberfest celebrations. Do we have to have special classes for German kids so they can learn the language of the land? No, Germans, Italians, Chinese, Hmong, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Korean, Poles, Greeks, Turks, Irish, Welsh, Scottish, English, Dutch, Danish and on and on came to this country and became Americans -- Americans who speak a common language that binds us as a people.

What Mexican immigrants are doing is a slap in the face to every other immigrant who came to this nation to become a part of the American Dream. The Mexican Dream is a nightmare, so it's no wonder they leave, but become Americans please.

Wow! Your Avatar doesn't even look like a Native American. Look, pal, not all the Spaniards raped and murdered when they went to Mexico. Secondly, what has that got to do with legal immigration to the States? Thirdly, I'm sorry your ancestors passed the physical at Ellis Island. That was a big mistake!

EVERYWHERE, CROOKED politicians need immigrant labor to keep the economy going, but use foreigners as scapegoats to secure own power--to affirm xenophobia and loyalty of native-born to state.

Spanish murders are much like the murders of the indigenous population of the US.

The people of Mexico have much in common (from a labor value perspective) to US people. NAFTA united us! I opposed that, but now it is a reality, possibly someone you know had thier job taken by a person from Mexico.

This is the game. Pitting workers against eachother. How people think this benefits them or thier job is ridiculous. These people are reacting (as planned by the elite politicians) based on thier predjudices. There are many historical examples of this tactic. Divide and Conquer. Pit white against black in the labor market, guess what, whites hate blacks. That is over to a large degree, but it has been replaced in the same way by this new scapegoating of "illegals"... Mexican people.

We can't fall for it over and over. So History is a good place to begin if you want to see how this system of oppression works.

I can't comment on the "sperm" dillema. Good luck in figuring it out though.

No sonny, you were 'built' by God. In his image, as were the rest of humanity.

Why do you think your so special, other the fact, you were made in God's image, you certainly should no compassion for the weak and poor, nothing remarkable about you.

However, there is a wonderful law of the universe, which states 'whatever you put out there in that big ole universe, be it love, hate, compassion, destruction, anger, rage, humanity, its gonna come right back at ya, ten fold'.

So I would really watch out what I wished for. Who knows, maybe someday this will become Mexico and we will throw your bony white a$$ out.....

I have yet to use the "we are all immigrants......theory". In fact I rarely use past history to compliment the current issue.

I have been guilty of using situations in the past that I feel are being replayed NOW.......but never in defense of anything.....just as a mind numbing reminder of where I feel some people are taking this issue. I will admit to that.

As for your sperm analogy.......don't have much to say about that.

Immigrants are not going to the US to rape or make sacrifices to the sun... they go to work, that's the difference.

And we're not saying you MUST allow everyone to get into the US, but not to claim everything there is yours and that immigrants go there to steal it, in that case, you stole it in the first place.

They just want a better lifestyle... and let me inform you they're not al illegal

I agree with you! I am so tired of hearing on here, "We are ALL immigrants." No, we are NOT all immigrants! Yes, our forefathers were immigrants, but that is them, we who were born in the USA are NOT immigrants! The ignorance on this point is just stunning!
