Many Catholics pray Night Prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours: http://www.universalis.com/-800/compline.htm

With love in Christ.

Any prayer that comes from the heart and that is prayed in faith is good. However, I think that the Night Prayer of the Liturgy of the Hours is especially good, because it is the official prayer of the Church. The Church prays as the Bride of Christ to Her Bride. The Liturgy of the Hours is a beautiful way to commune with the whole universal (Catholic) Church. It is centred on the Word of God and on Sacred Tradition. Of course, it is not always easy to enter into, but, once you've gotten that far, it's a true blessing! Although it is the "official" prayer of the Church, it very easily leads to a prayer that is more personal for the one who is praying it. And at the same time, it remains open to the whole Body of Christ, the whole Church. A wonderful way of praying before going to sleep!

Rosary ... I try to get this done before beddy time ... but lately, it's the last thing I do before I enter dream land ... the meditation on the prayers and scripture within the Rosary really help calm me down, so I may subconsciously be saving this until the last part of my day to relax and focus only on God.

The last prayer of the Rosary is "Hail, Holy Queen" ... so there u go.

Thank you Lord for this day and all the people I have touched within it. May my influence be a good reflection of your kindness and mercy, may each person I touched in some way be enriched with your love and devotion to us all. Thank you for giving me one more day to share your light and goodness and thank you for my family and friends you have graced my life with.
Amen

instead of vain repititions as it says NOT to do in the Bible...I actually talk to my father in heaven...thank him for that which I have received, ask for that which I need and do it all in Jesus' name..

see the prayer that he laid out in the Bible..was an example..a template...not a word for word prayer because we couldn't figure it out...
