I would appreciate it if you didn't call me a cult member, that's very rude. If it weren't for Jehovah there would be no Jesus, he created Jesus. Jesus was God's only begotten son. If you don't know what only begotten means I would suggest you go look up the word begot or beget, then you will know that Jehovah directly created Jesus, yes created Jesus which is why he is called Jesus father. Jehovah provided Jesus so that by exercising faith in his Jesus and himself that we may gain salvation. So nonetheless Jehovah is our only means of salvation because without him there would be no Jesus. I will stop now because no matter what I say, if you don't have a reasonable and mild spirit these things will go in one ear and out the other. I would suggest you have a Bible study and you can discuss this topic as well as many others with us, but once again, I can't tell this to you, it has to be in your heart. You have to want to know the TRUTH about Jehovah, instead of quickly dismissing a TRUE religion because of misinformation and calling us a cult. I really hope you really consider having a Bible study, it can save your life!

Most formations of the use of J have been brought down through transliteration. Meaning that a word directly transcribed into another language came out as a different word than orginally started. Lord was used as a substitute for Adonai when in the Septuagint, a text brought to Jewish scholars in the greek translation, deemed the sacred name of Yhwh to be too holy to speak given that the "Heavenly Father's name should not be taken in vain". It is His will that His name be restored, and many verses in The Bible point to it. I don't have these verses off hand. I will say, I don't have the Bible at my fingertips yet. I encourage you to research this.
Yhwh bless you,
Cheryl

The term "cult" is an insulting synonym for "religion". It has no place in polite conversation.
True Christians understand that Jesus and Jehovah are two distinct persons. Almighty Jehovah God created Jesus as His firstborn son.
(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation
(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.
(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God
(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God
(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth
(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak
(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am
(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him
(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father
(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the Christ is God
(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.
Jehovah's Witnesses reject the so-called Trinity doctrine. (Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah
(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him

First of all J.W. believe everything written in the bible, from Genesis to Revelation. If you would stop slamming the door in thier faces for a while and actually talk to one, maybe you would know this. That is what's wrong with this world. So quick to label people.

I disagree and am not in a cult or a mormon. I am a Christian raised red blodded American who beleives you are wrong. The Bible is not literal. but a story made to reinforce certain historical peoples wishes of the people they ruled over.

It's not trinity nor oneness...
Sadly many don't know this Truth...
GOD is a name
LORD is a name
EMMANUEL is not a name but a title (Mat 1:23)
JESUS is a title (savior) (Mat 1:21)
CHRIST is not a name but a title (1co 1:24)
The name of the Father is: GOD
The name of His Son which is His Word that he sent to earth is: LORD
and this is the CHRIST (1co 1:24) The Power of GOD and the Wisdom of GOD
that will save His people and this saving of His people is called: JESUS
and GOD prepared His Word with a body which is called" THE LAMB OF GOD which take away the sin once and forever.
The lamb of GOD means a male without blemish.
Exo 12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
The Son of GOD is not the Lamb of GOD but the Word of GOD
Mat 17:1-8 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart, 2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. 3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elijah talking with him. 4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah. 5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. 6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. 7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. 8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
The Word of GOD and the Holy Spirit is the same...
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. (Joh 14:17, Joh 15:26, Joh 16:13)
The Word of GOD is Truth. (Joh 17:17)
By the way JESUS is neither GOD nor man...
GOD: Because he is own of GOD.
MAN: Because he redeem his people .
WHAT IS JESUS CHRIST
Jesus: Project name of GOD.
(Mat 1:21) And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Emmanuel : Name of what GOD did
(Mat 1:23) Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
JESUS IS CHRIST
What Christ mean is…
(1Co 1:24) But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
(Luk 2:11) For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
LORD:
(Isa 42:8) I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
(Psa 100:3) Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

For all those that say we do not believe Jesus is God, Well, Jesus did not believe that Jesus was God either.
John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. King James Bible
It seems to me Jesus says "I ascend to my Father & my God" clearly showing that He is not the Almighty God.
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. King James Bible
Jesus is praying to his Father, is He praying to himself? I believe not, because He says to the one He is praying to "you are the only true God"
Someone is going to say: "Jesus was man and God when he was on Earth." but that is not what the Scriptures say:
Not Divine on Earth
The Scriptures make it clear that Jesus was entirely human from his birth until his death. John did not say that the Word was merely clothed with flesh. He “became flesh” and was not part flesh and part God. If Jesus had been human and divine at the same time, it could not have been said that he had been “made a little lower than angels.”—Hebrews 2:9; Psalm 8:4, 5.
If Jesus had been both God and man when on the earth, why did he repeatedly pray to Jehovah? Paul wrote: “In the days of his flesh Christ offered up supplications and also petitions to the One who was able to save him out of death, with strong outcries and tears, and he was favorably heard for his godly fear.”—Hebrews 5:7.
That Jesus was not partly a spirit when on the earth is proved by Peter’s statement that Christ was “put to death in the flesh, but . . . made alive in the spirit.” (1 Peter 3:18) Only because Jesus was wholly human could he have experienced what imperfect people experience and thus become a sympathetic high priest. Wrote Paul: “We have as high priest, not one who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tested in all respects like ourselves, but without sin.”—Hebrews 4:15.
As “the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world,” Jesus “gave himself a corresponding ransom for all.” (John 1:29; 1 Timothy 2:6) In that way, Jesus bought back exactly what Adam had lost—perfect, eternal human life. Since God’s justice required ‘soul for soul,’ Jesus thus had to be what Adam was originally—a perfect human, not a God-man.
To be a "cult" you must have a human leader, I have been a Jehovah's Witness for 48 years, and most certainly do not have a human leader.
JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES recognize no man as their leader. Their organizational structure has no equivalent of the pope of the Roman Catholic Church, the patriarchs of the Eastern Orthodox Churches, or the leaders of other churches and sects of Christendom. Their allegiance is to Jesus Christ, the Head of the Christian congregation, who stated: “Your Leader is one, the Christ.”—Matthew 23:10.
