Not at all. I am like you. I believe organized religion destroys the true nature of what faith really is - a on-on-one relationship between you and your Creator.
Keep the faith, lose the church.

You want the long answer? Okay, let's analyze statement...
You say you "believe in God, but have no faith in religion..." That sounds quite contradictory to me though. Because, as an analogy, "religion" is the connection or bridge between man and his creator, God. And in order to reach to the other side of the bridge, one must have "faith" or belief that God is in fact at that other end of that bridge.
However, if you construe the word "religion" to mean as the "church" that you belong [or once belonged] to... then your statement might be more plausible since you are essentially saying that you DO BELIEVE and HAVE FAITH in God, BUT you DON'T believe or have faith in the [religion or] teachings of your church. Is that a fairly closer assessment?
Short version: Then you're NOT a hypocrite based on the latter definition.
However... to be really, REALLY SURE as to whether or not YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE in many OTHER WAYS, i.e., doing things contrary to what you say or profess to believe in most of the time-- then ONLY YOU can know that for certain. True?? LOL.
Peace be with you!

Nope!
The Church will say that you are but organized religion is man made. If you feel really bad about it research the great schism where Martin Luther broke away from the Catholic church.
Martin Luther (November 10, 1483 – February 18, 1546) was a German monk,[1] priest, professor, theologian, and church reformer. His teachings inspired the Reformation and deeply influenced the doctrines and culture of the Lutheran and Protestant traditions, as well as the course of Western civilization. Luther emphasized that a person is saved by the merciful kindness of God through the merits of Jesus alone, received through trusting faith in Jesus, not by human efforts to earn God's favor

Religion is man-made and so, by default, is going to be fallible. You don't have to have faith in religion - I believe that all the different denominations of Christianity were caused by there being too many different ways to interpret certain Scriptures.
All I know is that if you believe what the Bible says and you know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for your sins then the rest is all just how you're going to let that truth affect your life.
When the time is right God will guide you just hold on to your faith in Him.

You believe in God without any Religion!!! how is it possible? Just check you life and ur waye to live, they must b according to some religion. If they are according to some religion that you dont like or u think the religion is false ( it there is somethinng false then there must be something true to make that thing false) Just prey. Dont prey the God in which u believe now, because ur believe my be false, but prey in ur heart " God if u can listen me please direct me to true religion". Some people when find that they were false in past, and it is pointed out by someone else then they get angry. It is not the matter to get angry it is time to correct ur Thinking because of u die without entring correct religion u will go to hell (the place of fire and extreme hotness). God made sun just to make us live in light. Sun is very much Hot, so God has powers to make a place more hot than Sun.(the hell).

Not at all. There is a difference between faith and religion. Your belief in god is enough to carry you through what ever it is you need it to. In my personal opinion religion is a form of social control. It works for many because it inspires hope; there is nothing wrong with that.
For those of us that were born into a religion through no choice of our own (parents) and later decided to remove the label of a religion, we move forward strong in a our faith. Perfect!

No. It is the people who believe in religion over God who are the hypocrites. Even the bible itself speaks out against organized religion, something you wouldn't hear in any sermon. The churches have pushed so many people away from God that its no wonder the bible speaks out against them. They all have the "Our way is the only true way" thing going on and none of them have a clue! The parishioners follow blindly instead of doing what the bible tells them to do which is to seek, find and interpret on their own.

Faith and religion are two different things...I was raised by a minister and believe me there is more hypocrisy in religion than believing in God and not religion! Just stay true to yourself!

No, because the two are seprate... your belief in God is NOT based on your belief in religion. Your religion is what yo do to reinforce that belief. Therefore, you can believe in God and practice your religion without having any faith in religion in general....
