huge music scene. a ton of bands, a ton of bars.
Some of the biggest national touring acts (Stones, etc) skip us because we only have a basketball arena and no football stadium for giant shows.
jobs are scarce, so you'd better have that hooked up before you relocate.

depends on your taste - but they have a pretty good atmosphere as far as i know from fellow friends in portland.
take a weekend trip and go check it out for yourself
