okay ive waited for someone for 9 years and when i got him as mine he decided 7 days later that he couldnt be with me

well that sux.
But, unless I am reading wrong he didn't throw away 9 years.. you were the one waiting for him... so you threw it away.
It's hard but move on he's not interested and it's not worth waiting one more minute for him.

why did you wait? did he ask you to and then changed his mind? waiting for someone for 9 years is a lot of time wasted. hope you did something else besides wait for him. turned out he was totally not worth it then. well, better 9 years than 10 or longer, to find out that you're not meant to be together. lesson learned. move on, dont get stuck on him hoping he will change his mind or trying to change his mind. in the span of time that you waited, you could have met and found someone. maybe you did, but let him go because you were obsessed by this guy. you cant turn back time, but you can learn from this very time-consuming experience. good luck to you.
