Cause they're insane. I just took a World Religions class in college that talked about all kinds of religion, including pagan, and I found out that Christians, no offense to anyone but especially Catholics and Baptists, are the most narrow minded people in the world. The funny part is that if they tell you you're going to hell cause of something the bible says they can't even find that part or if you go into the old testament in King James instead of the regular English speaking version it usually doesn't even say that. And yes, almost all wars are fought due to religion, inquisitions are definately religious, people do strange things for a being that no one has seen, talked to, or can even prove exists.

Personally, as a Christian, I don't put down PAGANs, I worry about you. I feel quite confident that you don't really know what you're getting yourself into.
I mean, why wouldn't you want hope and joy in your life? Are you really happier not having anything to believe in? Oh, and if you're the kind of PAGAN that is really a Satanist in disguise then I really worry about you because no good will ever come out of following the devil around and doing what he wants.
Oh, and did you know that PAGAN rituals cause more senseless pain than any war?
My littlest sister's rabbit was killed in a PAGAN ritual when she was little and I can tell you that everyone was terrified when they found the rabbit gutted lying under the cage with PAGAN symbols scratched into the dirt. Oh, and what was with the sweeping up the rabbit droppings under that particular rabbit's pen and taking them? That was just weird.
My baby sister was heart broken when her rabbit was killed; it was senseless and cruel.
Even after all that I've still tried not to put people down, but I do pray for them.

Christians are not responsible for wars, poverty, or inquisitions. Doubt this? Check Jesus' teachings. Don't think a person is a Christian just because they say they are one.
Some of these hypocrites that pass themselves off as Christians do feel a need to put down other's beliefs. That's a shame. Don't confuse them with Christians who are honestly concerned with helping you to learn the truth.
So how do you know the difference? Well, Jesus gave us the sign Himself:
Joh 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Joh 13:35 By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
A follower of Christ who shows real love for others=Christian
An arrogant, insensitive, narrow-minded, self-righteous bigot=hypocrite
Now you know who to blame for the problems you mentioned.
:)

There's no war in these days that is caused by Christianity. Wars were started by Christianity extremist, just like Islamic extremist, and other religious extremist; that's just how life is played out. Most of the blood shed is not due to Christianity. I believe that is a huge exaggeration. What evidence do you have to support this claim?

Well from early times mostly for money, But there ways of putting them down was much more literal. I guess because christian faiths put the fear of hell and damnation if they believe in any thing but what there priests tell them to. Actually all organized religion to day is based off or on or using pagan beliefs deities etc. To answer your question because there scared and most people act defensivly when there scared.

There have been great atrocities commited in the name of most all religions... ALL religion is false man founded dogma to control and dominate...
The True Christian Faith is not "religion" it is one-on-one with God and personal. But the explination would be too long to print here...and that is not you main question.
As to the Pagans... I can only testify to the Truth of my own Salvation. From That Truth I know that I follow The way, The Truth and The Life. That I am of the one true Church of which Christ Jesus is The Head.
All religion, pagan or otherwise, is mans attempt ot controle the god or gods he has invented and to dictate what that god, or gods, so decree. for the greater glory of man... or at least the men incharge...
No one of the Christian Faith will "put down any one" But... we will put down the dogma that controls those decieved and keeps them for knowing The truth of what God offers to all who will come to him in The Way He proscribes.
I accept email questions from all honest seekers concerning the Christian Faith. Or, you an check me out at:

Real Christians do not put down the beliefs of others. Real Chirstians live a peaceful life and mind their own business. These men who are doing these evil things are False Prophets. They know God based on books and man's wisdom. They do not have a true relationship with a resurrected Christ.
I never battle with others about their beliefs in God. I wait for God to give me the opportunity to share my beliefs... If he does not, I shut up. If he does, I speak up.

You know, it seems like everyone has been putting down everyone lately.
I consider myself a Christian, so I'm embarrased when I see other Christians throwing tantrums, being a**holes, and being so insecure that they can't even listen to someone else's point of view.
But I'm also frustrated when I see others who think that they're above "Christianity's pettiness" act exactly the same way.
It's too bad we're all wasting so much time being jerks, when I think we could learn a lot from each other.

Mainly because they do not understand it and are somewhat afraid of things that do not meet there understanding. The majority of the human species, have been programed, or if you wish, to know and believe certain things. Anything outside of this is evil to them and they refuse to even think about it. I do agree with you and find it humorous that the majority of bloodshed through out the centuries have been caused by the so called christian species.

It is in their religion to spread the "good news", and they truly believe that they may be persecuted for not leading lost souls to Heaven. It's the problem of what they've been taught, and the internet gives them an anonymity that they use to say things they would never tell someone face-to-face.
Have a pleasant day!
