"It depends" on a lot of factors: 1) How devastating was your loss (only you can answer that)... and will you be able to "let go?" 2) Is there a compelling drive to propagate? Do you have a time-line to meet in terms of "planned parenthood?" 3) Where are you at with your confidence? Perhaps you should "bone up" (forgive the pun) a bit prior to putting yourself "out there." The dating scene as I recall can be a loving mistress and/or your worse nightmare... all in the span of days...even hours. Better to be prepared than disappointed, or worse, branded something you're not. And lastly, 4) Can you afford the pursuit of another in the way that gives you "hand" (to quote George Costanza)? Maybe more time to regroup is required... At any rate, when in doubt, learn to trust your instincts... most often they are "spot on."

Give yourself time to reflect on what went wrong in the previous relationship. There is no set time to accomplish this...It may have been how you handled yourself, it may have been the other person, but try to step back and not rush into making the same choice in personality in the next girl. YOu may find that the next girl brings out your best qualities, or a different side than this one did (in your past). Another girl will come into your life when the time is right, and you will know when you see her.

How long do u think that u should wait? It depends on the feelings that you had for that girl. What and how did you feel about her? How long do you want to wait before seeing someonelse? IF it was that serious, you should really wait and think about things for a while. It's all on you. Because if it were me that you were with and I knew that you got with someonelse already, I would think that you were a liar. So do what fits you.

Just because you got out of the relationship it does'nt mean that you are over it. Give yourself enough time to deal, heal and again build up your power of will.
Or, you could always move to Mexico..

I'd say whenever you feel like it. But did you feel tied down all the time maybe you need a little time to your self so you don't have to worry about a girlfriend all the time. Be free for a while.

I am so sorry! There is no time. You have to go out and do it when you think your ready!
Good Luck!
I am really surprised that you weren't all sad about the girl and you are already asking about another.

i'm on the same boat...been a few hours actually, but i know it will take a while to heal in order to get into a serious relationship again. it took me two years to heal completely from my previous relationship, but you will feel it once you find that special someone.

you dont have to wait at all to "see" another girl, but I think you should wait 6 months before getting serious with another girl.
