There is this switch thing that turns the light off when the door closes and pushes down on it. I've pushed it down with the door was open, and the light went off, so thats how I know.

If you really need to know, drill a size #50 (very small) hole through the door or wall, which you can use for light-checking, and plug the hole later with silicone.

Another way exists whereby you place an amp-clamp on one leg of the light circuit and check for current between door-open and door-closed events, but you need to understand basic electrical circuits and amp-clamp operation.

Ther'es a little lever that the door presses in to turn the light off. When door opens, lever pops out, light comes on. When door is closed, lever is in, light is off.

You can usually see it go off the nanosecond prior to shutting the door 100%.

The little button at the bottom of the door breaks the circut sending an alarm to the little refrigerator gnome who lives in the icebox. He then rushes out and turns out the light. lol lol lol lol lol

i went on a field trip last year to see how things work in the groccery store. we went in their giant fridge, and they locked us in their and the light stays on for about 5 seconds, and then the light goes off. there ya go!!!!

because when u close it there is this switch that u can watch push and go out
or stick a digital camera that has video and put it in the frige for a minute adn then take it out and u can see the video
