well girl.leave the ex in the past.maybe what you need to do is build up that same friendship with your fiance.or unless its not with your fiance that you wanna be with.you really gotta think about it because this is your future your talking aboutl.and the who fact that theyre distant cousins can cause you problems..im not saying it will but my advice to you is just let go your ex emotionaly and personal wise. there was a reason why he left so just enjoy life and make your fiance happy and if not then learn or try to build a good relationship with the one you have by yourside

First of all, he's your fiances' family so, you do need to at least be able to speak to him. Secondly, if you cared so much for him that it took such a long time to get over him, do you really believe that you could be "Just Friends" with him. How would you feel if your fiance wanted to be good friends with his ex-girlfriend, especially if you knew it took him such a long time to get over her. Often times when you have a dilema such as this, just try putting the shoe on the other foot, so to speak, simply meaning, reverse the roles and put yourself in his/her place.
As far as your fiance goes, you should ask yourself this question, "Do i see myself with him five, ten, fifteen years down the road?" Don't compromise, does he smoke, does he drink, does he go to church, is there a list of things that you hope to change when you're married? An old saying...Women marry men hoping to change them...Men marry women hoping they won't change. I wish you the best.

Keyword: HE BROKE UP WITH ME. This man did not want to be with you anymore. It was not mutual. He basically got what he wanted in 4 months. Then use the famous line " You know i think you are a sweet girl and i think we are better as friends etc" Come on need i say more. But I am. Everybody has somebody in the past that they had fun with. you really love being around this person. THINK. That is all that they were FUN. They don't like being in committed relationship. Never the person you want to bring home to mama. HARSH REALITY. He had you wrap around his finger. Leave it alone. If you love your MAN. If you see him say your Hi's and byes, small talk and keep it pushing

Wow, kinda tough question. But here goes, look if you really, absolutely want to rekindle a friendship with your ex, then first if you are concerned about any backlash from your fiance then you need to tell him first. You know, just be upfront, and tell him that you want ot be friends with his cousin again. But you should also be aware that this entire sitituation might be a test to your relationship. But as long as you set the guidelines, that you only want to be friends with your ex, hoepfully it should work out. But good luck.

There is only one way to find out... Talk to your fiance about it first. If he is cool with it then go for it. If not then don't.
BUT, If you have any kind of feelings other than friendship with your ex then you should probably either stay away from him completely or break up with your fiance and try to get back with your ex.

you're setting yourself up to be hurt!
How do you know that these two, close cousins have not conspired to prove that you're not the one to be marrried to? If you like one more than the other, then sever you ties wth the other one. But, don't, under any circumstance try to hold on to one while you try to put a relationship together with the other. It's dngerous, and could blow up in your face.
