Did you switch to a different brand of cat food? Have you given your cat any kind of cat treats? My cat pukes when, in the past, I have given her Pounce or Bonkers cat treats. Some cats just have more sensitive stomachs. Also, it could be because of a hair ball which they will throw up. There is cat food made especially for that, many brands. Store bought cat food isn't near as nutritous as cat food bought from a pet store or animal clinic. Nutro or Iams are the best and least expensive of the good stuff. There is also stuff that you can buy that you put on your finger and the cat will lick it off. It is given weekly and usually works.

I would wait and see. He might need some water. Depends on the age of the cat. I have an old cat and she does it all the time because she is old and sensitive stomach. He is keeps going taking him to the vet. Try a fan on him and see if he likes that. If he does he was probably hot then. Good Luck with your cat.

More likely he ate his food too fast, also cat get hairballs real bad in summer, and they throw up. Get cat food with the hairball formula or buy the hairball medicine at a store. Also cats get tummy aches and eat grass and they throw up then too. Don't worry too much. Get hairball food or medicine and give it to him. He'll be better.

It could be hairballs, worms, fat, pieces of plants (many plants are toxic to cats), a dinner that didn't agree with him, sensitive stomach. It this continues on a regular basis you need to have your vet take a look at him. If you have worms in the vomit, take a stool sample and the kitty to your vet.

He probably ate too fast, (if this is his usual food) If it is a new brand, don't give it to him any more. Make sure he has cold fresh water, and watch him. If he continues to throw up, check for a hairball. (fur they swallow when washing) If there is a hairball, he will be fine, If not, and he is still sick, take him to the vet.

Whole chunks of food is normal. Could even be a hairball or something. Give him a couple of days, if he is still puking, call a vet.

I had cats that did that all the time. Found out that the soy in the food I was giving them caused it. Try a food that had no soy.
