Frontline Plus is for fleas and ticks. Advantage works on fleas. Advantix kills fleas and ticks...and repels fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. So you have the added bonus protection from heart worms, which is transmitted through mosquitoes. I would definitely suggest Advantix, it is the superior product.

Ok, I haven't tried this flea treatment, but Frontline Plus is a great one. You put it on your cat or dog in one place, and it spreads over their entire body and the fleas just start dropping off. If they're infested with them, then within 2 days they'll be gone. Any fleas in your house will either starve or bite your pet and die. I recommend getting that... it really is great. It's not expensive and it lasts a month or longer. I can't remember, it either lasts 1 month or 3. You buy it by the weight of your pet. Cat is just one size, and dog comes in different ones. My dog is like 90 pounds and it cost like $20 for him. It was completely worth it though.

I've used it on all five of my dogs for the past two summers & it works great. No fleas & no ticks. You have to use it properly, apply the right size dosage for the size of dog you have & apply it monthly or it won't work.

I have used advantix before and didn't like it. My dog still got fleas and tics. I would recommend frontline plus instead. Every time I use it my dog is flea and tic free.

Yes it works but my vet told me that Frontline was better because it not only prevents fleas, it also prevents tics, lice and other disgusting creatures. K9 Adv. is only for fleas.

It works great. Continue with it and follow all directions. If you skip months or don't apply the whole tube you may get fleas and ticks.
