the best place to go hunting in montana is in the milk river area. i've seen bill jordan go there on tv and it got this huge buck. you should really try it!! good luck!

What are you hunting for, and how are you hunting.
Gardner has some good elk hunting.
Ekalaka (Eastern MT) deer hunting etc.
The Bob Marhshall Wilderness is also a great area.

Have a friend here in Va. who goes to the Bob Marshall Wilderness area every year. And as I am in the mountains, deer are rife, I would say that's a pretty good endorsement.
