Flexible spit?

I didn't realize mucous wasn't flexible to begin with...
-sorry.. :)

1) Stretch a lot.
Start with light stretching and warming up your muscles as you get into deeper stretches. Overtime, weeks to months, you should improve greatly depending on how regular you train.

2) Also, learn good breathing skills. Hard to stretch and become very flexible unless you learn to breath properly as you stretch. Exhaling as you stretch, then holding for a few seconds (at first). Over time, you should increase the time in which you hold the stretch and you should see marked improvements.

3) Again, ensure your muscles are warmed up somewhat before getting into deep stretches. The deeper, the warmer your muscles should be, unless you want to pull something.

Best of luck. (and don't spit while you stretch... you could create a safety hazard)

stretch, stretch, stretch...dont ever take it too far the first time you do it. do the same series of stretches (i can give you ideas on stretches if you want) every day (either in the morning or when you get out of a warm shower, youre more flexible then) and push yourself just a LITTLE further every day. if you keep up with it at least 5 days out of the week for about a month you should see an amazing change.

You try doing the split by practicing everyday. Did you realize you spelled "split" spit? After practicing everyday a couple times a day eventually you will touch the floor. You'll be surprised how much your muscles will stretch after awhile!! Good luck cheerleader!!!

Ahhhh stretching is a long process. Many people tear muscle instead of stretching. This makes you tighter. Play with your body. It tells you the answers just do not tear. Take it slow and hold it there for 30 secs or one min. Also stretch your whole body this keeps you in balance.
