She calls alot for no reason.
She asks me to come see her at work.
She tells everyone we are only friends and that she doesn't like me that way....EVERYONE, thinks differently and says it could be because she is afraid it will get back to me. No lie, EVERYONE including her own little brother thinks she likes me....her parents even asked if we were dating.....
my friends say she is seeking ATTENTION and may or may not like me....that i would have to make the first move and tell her or she will never say anything...thats just the way she is i guess (She is young (17) and has been hurt with past relationships and so she is afraid of rejection with an older guy)...i dunno, it's all hear-say.
But why would she be seeking my attention if she doesn't like me? And does this sound like the case?

She is giving all the "buy signs" even if she has not or will not say it aloud. She is probably trying to give you all the signs by way of others to see if you wil bite. That way if you do not, she is not rejected up front, to the face. If you don not have any feelings for her use the same grape vine that she is using to declare that you do not like her as more than just a friend. then she may stop calling as much or asking you to come by etc, because she will have a clear answer on how you feel about her.

I personally think she is being honest and likes you as a friend. It's common for a girl to have a "best guy friend" without having any other feelings then simply being friends. I understand typically the guy would like something more in those situations, but if you two get along and have fun, well then hey.... keep the friendship...

she is in denial but she does like you so much
it might she is afraid to open up her feeling with other people because of her past relationship..
but the question is,do you like her? do you feel the same way she does to you?
she is actually waiting for you to tell her that you like her,too. and i hope this time she would not get hurt.

i think that she like's you,and if you like her,maybe you can do the first step.maybe she afraid to do this first step,because she afraid that you didn't want to date with her,and she don't want to be hurt again!she is young only 17 years old and maybe she wants romantic relationships,and i think you must do this first step,you will see after that sha really likes you!

Come right out and say something to her, tell her what you've been hearing and go from there. Actions speak louder than words.

im her. literally, theres this older guy i like and i wont admit it to anyone. hes a sweetie and i love attention from him. im not stringing him along, just waiting for him to make a move. try it out and see what happens.

do you like her? would you be happy to find out she is interested? if so solve the mystery and ask her out, if not then don't worry about it either way. it definitely sounds to me like she has a serious crush going. good luck.
