very hot, My sister lives there the summer are almost unbearable.

Very hot, as in over 100 degrees May through September. Desert, so zero humidity. Total car culture. You must have a car and even if its only a block away you must drive. Not only does the weather make walking any distance impossible, but the city just isn't set up for it. The Desert Botanical Gardens are a great place to go when you get there to learn all about the environment that you'll be living in and a bit about the history of the area.
I lived there 1999-2001. Loved the desert. It was just so beautiful. Hated Phoenix. Before people who live there get mad at me, it just wasn't my kind of place. I live in Seattle now and love it, so I think that explains everything. Coming from Europe, I think we can safely tell you that you've never been anywhere like Phoenix. I hope you like it.

Phoenix is hot and dry and brown and UGLY! I live in the Phoenix area and people who say it is beautiful are fooling themselves.
I wanna move back to California where is was lush and green...

if your talking about Phoenix, az then it is great!! i live there! well, actually in scottsdale, az but scottsdale is like in pheonix or right next to it!! its fun!
