how do i know that it's food poisoning? what are some symptoms? her stomack is in pain and she can't get up.

Syrup of epicac. Although if they have food poisoning, you should just leave them alone, and let there body work out the poison. It is the only way to get better.

fresh ginger although really super gnasty tasting, is good for nausea, montezumas revenge (i used it for that in mexico) seasickness hangovers... so why not food poisoning
it is also super cheap, i got a hunk of it for 7 cents. it doesnt need to be peeled either. you just wash it, take a bite (eeewe) then drink some water and within a few minutes you're feeling better
