when my dogs were puppies we had them in crates during the day. they ate, drank and went out before we left and we can straight home at 2:30 and let them out. Now at 1 & 2, we leave them in the house. They have learned to hold it until my kids get home at 2:30.

Look for a highly recommended doggy daycare in your area. If not, try to get a pet sitter or a friend to come over.

Get a crate, if you don't have a backyard, or look into getting a dogwalker or neighbor to come let him out once during the day.

you mean a beagle? well if you have a fence you can just leave him out there! but always make sure that he has plenty of food and water! if you live in a hot state then put ice cubes in his water and put the bowl out of the sun!

it depends on if its house trained or not. if it is just let him/her rome the house hwile your gone and close doors that you dont want them in. and if their not then put them in a not so big crate with a blanket and food and water. because a crate to them is a second home. they love them. good luck!
