I was just curious b/c I’m 19 and getting married. I would really like to have a baby at 20 but I don't know if that is too young.

I was 16 years old. I was one of those teens who wanted to be a Mom long before I ever was one. I am now, 11 years later, a motivational speaker to teens who are pregnant or have already had a baby. It is too little too late for those girls to decide what they want, so now they have to accept reality and make the best life for there child that they can possibly give. You are 19, and you have obviesly made good decisions so far. I believe whatever you decide, it will be the right decision. Some women are ready for motherhood far earlier then others. Some are never ready. Good Luck, and Congrats in advance (on getting married, and if you decide on a baby anytime soon!!)

I was 19 when I got pregnant with my first and had him at 20, and then I got pregnant on my 21st bday and I am now 6 months pregnant. I think maybe you should wait acouple more years. The way I see it is that you have awhile to be having kids, why do it right away? Enjoy being married and what not. Don't get me wrong though, I love being a mom and wouldn't change it for the world, but I do miss out on some things.

I was 21 and my husband was 28. Its nice to be young enough to lose the baby weight very quickly with little to no effort. My son wound up being my inspiration to go to college rather than just work on a farm the rest of my life. It is also nice to start college only a few years later than others my age would have.

I'm 23 now and planning my second. It was one of those, "I won't have a second child until my first is potty trained and in school 1/2 days", well, both will be accomplished by this comming September.

I was 20 when I had my son...I am now 25 and I am regretting it. When I got pregnant I was 19 and I thought I was 'old enough' and 'ready' but 5 years down the road I know now that I had alot more living to do. Please just have fun with your life for a while..get your career going and such. Then in a couple of years see where your marriage is and see how your life is, then decide.
