Yes I have searched, but i've only found a few things helpful. Please don't tell me not to be wiccan or a witch, I have a right to learn. Thank you.

THIS IS YOUR ANSWER, I PROMISE, READ ME PLEASE:
Most of us started right where you are, and I have come up with these few tips and sites, etc:
-spellsandmagic.com is a site where you'll find very basic stuff but it'll be very useful in the future and you just have to know it
-Meetup.com is a place where you can meet other witches and wiccans and pagans near you. It used to be only about magick, but it has been corrupted a little. All you have to do is be careful to select only groups that relate to magick.
-Silver Ravenclaw is a well-known author who has written many good books about witchcraft. I personally find her way about magick a little too domestic, but she's very, very useful if you know very little.
-Another good book that you can probably get off your local library is The Craft by Dorothy Morrison. Not all of it is absolutely as important as she makes it sound, but it's definitely something you should read if you find the time.
-If you don't mind very obvious books, you should check out The Complete Idiot's Guide To Wicca and Witchcraft. It's actually more helpful than almost any other book you'll find on withcraft at the library.
-Scott Cunningham also has a lot of good material that is very often found at the libraries. I think he's a little more important than Silver Ravenclaw.
-Just look at more books. The more you read, the better idea you'll get of what witchcraft really is all about. I live in Virginia and you find most witchcraft books in the library at Nonfiction 133.4
-All you have to do is look around. You already did the first and most important step of asking
PEACE OUT!!
Or as a witch should say, 'Blessed be!'

Hello there is a Newer Magazine it is called "New Witch" it is really informative. I have a subscription and it comes quarterly a year. Also am a member of the Children of Artemis. There is a yearly festival in Croydon England called the "Witchfest" and it is the first weekend of November. It is really informative and has lots of classes on different types things. I have been and they have really good music. I like the Mediaeval Babes (most of the band is Pagan). They also sell things such as books, clothes, alter items and alot more. You may want to look at the website for Children of Artemis. They also have other things on their website that you maybe interested in and if you join you get a really great magazine which it sponsored by them called "Witchcraft and Wicca".

I have a friend who is Wicca. She was a member of a group she met on . I have also found books in Barnes and Noble and other book stores in the New Age sections.
And Wiccas are not evil. They were around before Judiasm and even before the Greek Patheon(sp). They just worship a female diety (mostly Mother Nature) and thusly have been condemmed by morons.

Join Coven of Witches. Registration is free. There's an entire section on Wicca, amongst other things, with new information all the time. A great place to learn.
Blessed Be!

I don't know if it'll help, but one site of which I am fond is "Wicca For The Rest Of Us", which can be found at http://wicca.timerift.net/
Book-wise, I think I'd recommend Doreen Valiente. Possibly Rae Beth too. I'm not sure, though, as my book collection isn't great. Whatever you do, steer clear of Silver Ravenwolf.

I have family relatives who still live on Wicca Farm in Cornwall, it was a place of ancient stone circles and magic....fascinating but hard to find out about, there are many local legends about the stones and local people who have or had the gift.

I would pick up a book or two about it, also look for others in your area that follow this belief. Good luck to you.
oh and to the first guy, its not evil, you are ignorant and Wicca is far less evil then your Cristian religions.

Anton LaVey... "The Satanic Witch" He is dead on when he writes about Wicca.
He was a Satanist... not a Christian. Witchcraft is real... you do not know what spirits are out there... you think you can control them? It is they that control you through lies and deceit. That is why God forbade consulting in witchcraft... seek God only... trust only Him. Everything else is evil.
