Just looking for any type of favorite cocktail recipe you may have. I am always looking for new ideas. Like I said, I'm sure I'll get some mean answers but would really appreciate any recipes you could share, ingredients, measurements, etc....not looking for websites with these recipes. I'm very familiar with most of them. Thanks in advance! :)

My favorite summer punch is watermelon:

Fill a blender half full with ice.
Fill the rest with cut-up frozen watermelon chunks.
Add 1/3 can lime-ade.
Add a full can watermelon vodka (or regular if you don't have it).
Wet the glasses with lemon and dip the rims in sugar.

Great when it's hot.

When it has to sit a while, I add watermelon chunks or strawberry pieces to lemonade and freeze them in an ice tray. Kids love those, too.

here is something i am sure you have never heard of, and this is my absolute favorite cocktail. and i will not lie...it is a complete -beep- to make. but it is WELL worth it.

PUKA PUNCH

1 ounce fresh lime juice
1 ounce white puerto rican rum
1 ounce dark west indies rum
3/4 ounce myer's rum
3/4 ounce orange juice
3/4 ounce unsweetened pineapple juice (the stuff in a can)
3/4 ounce passion fruit syrup (order it from trader vic's)
3/4 ounce honey ***
1/4 ounce falernum
dash of angostura bitters
3/4 ounce lemon hart 151 demerara rum

heat honey until liquid***, then blend with all other ingredients -- EXCEPT lemon hart 151 -- with 8 ounces crushed ice for no more than 5 seconds. pour into chimney glass. float lemon hart on top of drink. garnish with paper parasol pick and cocktail cherry speared to pineapple and orange slices.

***if you just add straight honey (even heated like the instructions says), it will just clump and stay at the bottom of the drink. the trick it to make honey syrup. boil equal parts water and honey, then let it cool. then double whatever the recipe calls for. so in this case, add 1 1/2 ounce of the honey syrup you made.

if you try it, and make it right, it seriously will be the best drink you have had (well, unless you have been to the tiki-ti in LA and had a ray's mistake).

enjoy!

I always think simple is best. Pineapple juice & rum. Orange juice & orange or lemon vodka. Gin and tonic (I like mine w/ a twist of lime)

There's a bunch of hot drink combos too- peppermint schnapps and cocoa, apple cider and rum, Irish cream and coffee, etc.

Why go throught all the hassle of measuring little bits of this and that when all it takes is just a few key ingredients?

Wine Cooler

Mix equal amounts of chilled white (or red) wine with chilled Fresca. Pour over ice and enjoy. Especially good during warm weather!
If the wine and Fresca are not chilled, it tends to have a watered down taste. This is also lower in calories!
