I want to create my own personal fusion vodka in a jar for a party,
different flavors.
What do I need besides vodka? do i just add anything ie berries etc into the vodka directly and let it sit?

hand full of coffee beans infused in vodka for a week for a coffee flavoured vodka....

vanilla pods infused in vodka for a week for vanilla vodka....

gently crushed orange or lemon peel infused in vodka for a week for citrus vodka....

slit red peppers infused in vodka for a week for pepper vodka...(over do this and you'll be spitting fire from your *** the next time you ****)

Any fruit of your choice, gently macerated and infused in vodka for a week and there you go...name it what ever you like...

try using a glass or ceramic bowl for the infusion
take care to strain the vodka properly to avoid any unwanted residue. a fine muslin should do.

Cheers!!!

The two previous answers will give you a decent "flavored" vodka. To get "infused " vodka, the flavors need to be added during the distillation process.

Yes, you just add any fruit you want into the vodak (top shelf works best) and let it sit. The longer it sits the better.
