I hear of this plan I have for all humans
I know of no such plan. Once I gave free will I was done. I simply observe. What kinda of Father or Creator would I be if I orchestrated every being that I created lives. You would know your purpose then would you not to serve me blindly and obediantly. This is not the case. I had no idea how you all would turn out. This is a grand experiment after all.

Life is for loving and learning and working. It is for overcoming in a difficult world. It is for living in sincerity with a clean conscience. It is for washing dishing and wiping a tear away from a child's face, or teasing a teenager so they don't take themselves too seriously and get depressed. It is forgiving and living beyond what your family gave you. It is learning that responsibility makes you free and irresponsiility enslaves you in every way. Life is sweet if you accept the truth.

Life is meant to resolve the seemingly apparent contradictions inherent here: contradictions that yield such meaninglessness that we tend to invent belief systems and concepts to resolve the pain.

How do we REALLY resolve the problems here? The only way that has worked for a few thousand years: by directly experiencing reality for ourselves, without our beliefs and concepts. It's called an enlightenment experience and it's been achieved by practioners in christianity (e.g. meister eckhart, st john of the cross), islam (e.g. rumi), buddhism, etc. Read '3 Pillars of Zen' for a good description.

If you want to know your purpose then you need to accept Jesus into your heart, and then you can ask God what your purpose is here on earth, and He will surely answer!

I have this message embroidered and always remind myself about the goodness of life. It says - "Lord, grant me the patience to endure my blessings". Life is - a blessing, an opportunity, for helping underprivileged, for developing respect for elderly, for learning, for improving human knowledge, for realising that we lead a better life than animals, for contribute to betterment of human society, for acknowledging it and for feeling grateful about it.
