Guys like to appear tough. They want to be the rocks that we lean on. For them showing tears or emotions is like showing us a weakness they have. But sometimes if that special girl comes along the guy may realize he needs to show who he is in order to keep her.

Its not shyness. It is the nature of the beast.
Its not a guy thing either. It's a personality thing. There are girls who are not comfortable sharing their feelings openly.
It doesn't make it wrong because YOU want an open book. Maybe they don't know you well enough, maybe they have been hurt or maybe they just don't do that.
Time will fix this one.

well they don't admit what they feel sometimes is because they like to act like a man when they damn well that there is problem and they wanna cry boho well anyways pint of me saying this is that they wanna prove at least some men want to prove the theory that man are stonger than girl true

Usually, the reason is that guys are afraid that girls dont feel the same way and it might lead into awkwardness between the two.

it has to do with the way there brains work. they are not made to be nurturing so they dont feel the same way we do.my husband would do anything in the world for me,tell me that he loves me but to actually explain how he feels he cant do it. just the way it is. go fiqure

we don't wanna get hurt, if we show our emotions 2 soon(and this has happened to me and she posted it on her blog) we can reveal something we don't want anyone to know and then the girl can do something bad with that info
