some booze, a couple mules, sparkly angels, and the voice of God, that's all I remember about last night really, next thing I know she's pregnant and the mules have nothing to say for themselves

She was a virgin and kept her like that until after Jesus was born. She did have other children. Scripture teaches that he was going to privately "divorce" her. He was respectful enough to not want her business in the street. I think he reacted like any man would have. Angry, hurt, disappointed, frustrated. Let your fiance come up pregnant, you might feel the same. It takes a very strong man to say "I love you enough to stay and marry you." And that is for people who have gotten pregnant the regular way. But Mary was special she was pregnant by the Holy Spirit. She didn't have sex, she didn't cheat on Joseph. Scripture says only until an angel of the Lord appeared to him and told Him for hisself did he understand what was going on. See Luke chapter Matthew 1:18-25

The 'virgin birth' is a standard metaphor used by religious writers to symbolize that the person is awake to a different type of consciousness, one that doesn't identify with the individual body. The person has been virtually 'reborn' by a direct experience of God/Ultimate Reality and this experience is such that their identity is no longer with things like 'individual consciousness' and its associated elements such as individual bodies and personalities.
They used this in the stories of Buddha, too. To take this literally misses the entire point. It's just a symbol.

Dude ,I daught he wanted anypart of it. He must of been like dam ima die, Ima die, Ima Die. Oh God almighty IMA DIE.lol, that was like a mortal sin really cause she was like owned by like the temple priest or something like that, so knocking her up would be like stealing from God himself. I mean what idiot would do that? Read Mary's Gospel it's online it tells that story.
